My Actifit Report Card: February 3 2026
It was back to running again today as my legs had a decent amount of life in them after my long hike yesterday.
I pulled off a decent 5 miles running on the road late this morning. A gradual mile climb on the nearby Mingus Rd before heading through the nice housing development for a quicker stretch of back roads before heading back on the flat sprint home.
Pretty good run but my endurance is pretty poor but I'm just going to keep on going to try to get back to a good level by the end of the year.
Lulu and I changed up our afternoon hiking routine with a couple of miles along the Verde River not far from Tuzigoot ruins.
The area is a network of several trails but it was easy to find a nice route that ran close to the river. This area has been flooded in the past but not severely in a couple of decades.
Plenty of green grass for Lulu to check while there were plenty of birds up in the massive cottonwood trees lining the river channel.
A really nice area for easy walks so I'll probably visit the area again.
