Liz pulled into a parking spot next to the truck you see in the third photo………
“Liz, I think the days are numbered where this guy will use this rock salt spreader attachment on the back of his truck this year!”☺️
Everyone was calling for a bitter cold Winter this year, and all we ended up with was rain Lol!😅
We had several storms this past Winter, where the parking lots of large businesses had contracted out, to have salt spread literally EVERYWHERE Lol!🙄
Just walking into a local business left tracks of white salt everywhere inside on the floor!😬
Our Granddaughters daddy, our youngest son, is a country worker for a larger city close to Seattle…………
“Dad…. They haven’t had any cold weather this year! If the temperature even gets close to freezing, they want us to DUMP salt Everywhere!”🙄
Growing up in Cincinnati as a kid, the City had massive mountains of salt for the roads in the Winter!
Most of these piles well over THIRTY feet tall!😮
Salt has its benefits on snow packed icy roads, and it also has several not so good, side effects on the environment……….
By the time Spring rolls around, most of the grass, and plants along the sides of the roads back in Cincy were brown, and dead or dying from massive amounts of salt!
Salt also rusts the fenders of cars………
You could always tell where a used car was driven back in the Midwest by the amount or rust!🙄
In the Pacific Northwest, you also have the negative effect that salt has on the fish and the streams!😮
Silvertop checked the ten day Weather forecast again………….
Nothing but rain for the next ten days straight!

Thank you, my friend, and it finally did today. and we even saw a hint of sun, even though it did still rain most of the day, though it was light, gentle rain, and the crazy winds have finally ended. I even had to evacuate my living structure, the Flow House, which now needs to dry out, be cleaned, and for some significant repairs to be made. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Hopefully the repairs aren't too major and that you get back in the flow house soon my friend!👍😀

I think that in many places in the world, the moderate temperatures typically are just after sunrise and before sunset, and in the spring and autumn/fall seasons. 😅

If you live near a forest, and get out early in the morning, the dew on the grass and hanging on the trees!😅
Perhaps someone who is quite far away from a forest can simply use a bicycle to drive their way there early in a (summer) morning and enjoy the dew !INDEED! 🚴😎 !LOLZ

But I guess you are used to some procedures there that are not known in California. But 2 hours and 15 minutes from where I live is Lake Tahoe, where it snows! There was a time I was considering buying a cottage there.
