I glanced over at Liz this morning in the middle of our Church Service…………
“Do you hear the rain on the Church’s roof Liz?”😳
It was pouring, hard!😅
Today was day three of rain………….
Drizzle, then downpours, then drizzle again!
Silvertop checked the weather app on my iPhone!😇
“Honey, it says Sunshine starting this afternoon, continuing for the next three days!🤗😎
I hurried after Church to get caught up with my morning chores……..
It was just after 2PM and I “Saw the Light!”🤣😇
“Honey I’m going up to the pond, I want to see how full it is after the rain we just got!”😍
The pond is definitely filling up!
If you look close in the second photo, you can see a multitude of deer hoof prints in the mud along the shore of the pond!
See the darker mud on the left shore……..
This is “bottom pond mud” that Keith had his workers taper the shoreline with.
This sludge is the equivalent to walking in quicksand!😮
Silvertop had no idea……………..
I took a shortcut back to the main gravel road, and walked right through this bottomless mud!😳
I immediately sank up to my calfs in this very slimy, smelly mud!🙄
I walked over to thick sections of grass to try to scrape the mud from my boots and blue jeans……
That’s when I glanced over towards the Apple grove, and spotted Keith’s wi-Fi game camera aiming directly at Silvertop!☺️
My son tells me these wi-Fi game cameras, upload immediately!😇
Uhhh…….. “Hi Keith, you sure did layer the old pond mud deep along the shore Lol!”🤣
I’m sure they enjoyed watching Silvertop’s escapades while on vacation in France Lol!🤗
I think it’s time to head back home for a clean change of clothes!☺️
Till tomorrow….. don’t try this at home, Lol…..Silvertop Mike 😊

It is always half full for me i like to keep a positive attitude even if things are not going well, ya never know what is just around the corner ready to change the game.

Glad you survived the torrential rain after church. It sure left some nice puddles, that's for sure. You must have a lot of deer around, that's a lot of tracks!
I was looking close for cougar tracks…..😺
I figured with this much deer we are bound to have a big cat nearby, but I didn’t see any tracks……
