The sun smiled briefly this morning before the clouds claimed the rest of the day. I skipped my morning walk again because of work. It was the third setup day for the big conference, a steady rhythm of cables, stands, and screens turning an empty hall into a stage of ideas. On my way to the venue, across the fairgrounds, and back again, I collected steps like stories. Today I caught a glimpse that stopped me, the railway tracks glinting beside the station near the venue. I framed it twice, once through the ultra wide lens, once through the regular wide. Each told a different truth, one about distance, the other about detail. Which one do you like best?

Die Sonne lächelte kurz am Morgen, bevor die Wolken den Tag für sich beanspruchten. Ich ließ den Morningwalk erneut aus Jobgründen weg. Es war der dritte Aufbautag für die große Konferenz, ein stetiger Rhythmus aus Kabeln, Ständen und Bildschirmen, der eine leere Halle in eine Bühne der Ideen verwandelte. Auf dem Weg zur Venue, über das Messegelände und zurück sammelte ich Schritte wie Geschichten. Heute hielt ich einen Moment fest, der mich stoppte, die Gleise, glänzend neben dem Bahnhof an der Venue. Ich fotografierte sie zweimal, einmal mit dem Ultraweitwinkel, einmal mit dem normalen. Jedes Bild erzählte seine eigene Wahrheit, eines über Entfernung, das andere über Nähe. Welches gefällt euch am besten?
