The morning felt like walking through a steaming greenhouse, the air thick and sticky after another night of relentless rain. The rather short peninsula route turned into a slow shuffle, where interval walking felt less like training and more like trudging through soup. With humidity at one hundred percent, I refused to push too hard and instead allowed myself longer pauses. I practiced breathing and meditation by the river, where the silence pressed closer because the wind stayed away. Birds circled above, even the grey herons remained in the air instead of stalking the shore. It was a demanding walk, but I still carried back something bright for you: a handful of golden mullein flowers from one of my secret magic places.

Der Morgen fühlte sich an wie ein Gewächshaus voller Dampf, die Luft schwül und schwer nach einer weiteren Nacht voller Regen. Die eher kurze Halbinselroute verwandelte sich in ein langsames Schlendern, bei dem Intervall-Walking eher wie ein Marsch durch Suppe wirkte. Bei hundert Prozent Luftfeuchtigkeit wollte ich nicht übertreiben und gönnte mir längere Pausen. Ich machte Atem- und Meditationsübungen am Fluss, wo die Windstille die Ruhe noch dichter machte. Vögel zogen ihre Kreise, selbst die Graureiher blieben in der Luft und suchten nicht das Ufer. Es war ein anstrengender Gang, aber ich brachte euch trotzdem etwas Helles mit: Königskerzenblüten von einem meiner geheimen magischen Orte.
