It felt like one of the last mild mornings before autumn, and the air carried that quiet promise of change. I walked the Luiseninsel loop through the palace gardens, as usual i visited the decorated bust of the queen and peeked into the hollow tree stuffed with colorful dreamcatchers and more. My steps followed the rhythm of interval walking, broken by breathwork and meditation by the water on the island. Along the way, I met plenty of park residents: a pair of herons walking around, the swan family cleaning themselves, and of course the sheep, calm and steady like living lawnmowers. The sky stole the show, painted with epic clouds that looked almost staged. I could not resist capturing two skies, one above the park and another a little later from the island to bring them here for you to see along with a portrait of one of those fluffy “mowers.”

Es fühlte sich an wie einer der letzten milden Vormittage vor dem Herbst, und in der Luft lag dieses leise Versprechen der Veränderung. Ich lief auf der Luiseninsel durch den Schlosspark, besuchte wie üblich die geschmückte Büste der Königin und warf einen Blick in den hohlen Baum, der mit bunten Traumfängern und mehr gefüllt war. Meine Schritte folgten dem Rhythmus des Intervalllaufens, unterbrochen von Atemarbeit und Meditation am Wasser auf der Insel. Unterwegs begegnete ich vielen Parkbewohnern: einem Reiherpaar, das herumspazierte, der Schwanenfamilie, die sich putzte, und natürlich den Schafen, die ruhig und gleichmäßig wie lebende Rasenmäher vor sich hinmähten. Der Himmel stahl die Show, mit epischen Wolken, die fast inszeniert wirkten. Ich konnte nicht widerstehen, zwei Himmel zu fotografieren, einen über dem Park und einen weiteren etwas später von der Insel aus um sie euch zusammen mit einem Porträt eines dieser flauschigen "Rasenmäher" mitzubringen.
