@nomaddreamer and I took the road less travelled today.

A street we hadn’t wandered down yet beckoned us as we looked for a new view to admire. It turned to gravel and before we knew it we went from neighborhood to woods. It was lovely.

Deer ran from us faster than we could grab our phones to record. I’ve had no luck yet getting a picture of the deer here. It is good that they run so quickly; hunting is a much more practiced sport here than where we’re from!

I love that green view into the forest, with the twisting branches. Something about that picture, really lights up the imagination.

Thank you! That's what I was going for, since that's what it felt like when I walked past that opening in the vines and trees. It was like a window, and that twisted branch made it seem fantasy-like.

Thanks! I'm always up for the road less travelled. I guess that's one of the reasons @nomaddreamer and I found our way to the Ozarks! (And many other areas of the US that GPS didn't seem to recognize. 😀)
