Recovery Day 30 - First week is over... my training diary entry from July 6 2026

(Here is another photo I came across while scrolling through. I’m not entirely sure where it was taken, but the lake visible here might be Walchensee. The picture was taken at the end of August last year.)
Hi Actifitters,
yesterday, I focused on close-grip push-ups and a few shoulder exercises again. After failing to make progress in my last two push-up sessions, I was determined to manage at least one extra rep today. And sure enough, I managed exactly one more rep in the final set. That leaves me just six reps away from the next milestone.
The next goal according to the training plan (47+):

The first week is done, and although the scale showed a few grams more each day over the last few days, I managed to achieve an acceptable loss in the final stretch after all. So, after one week, I can report a total weight loss of 800 grams. I am curious to see how things go in the second week.
After training only push-ups and shoulders yesterday, today I will dedicate myself to pull-ups and curls.

Looks like some progress at least! Also lost some weight as I see. I managed 8 clean repetitions down to the chest of the bench press yesterday, with 50kg. That felt good :-)
