A Hidden Gem…….My Actifit Report Card: September 16 2025

Tuesday is ladies Bible study and today’s was the wrap up on forgiveness. To not forgive is to keep yourself bound in chains and to not receive God’s forgiveness.

Afterwards, I went to the post office to pick up the clinic mail. Then, I headed home.

It had gone from cooler fall weather to the heat of summer full blown like an August furnace! 🥵 I much prefer the cooler weather for sure!

I suggested a run to Lynden for coffee and then a quick stop at Lynden City Park. It seems as if someone arranged these pieces of deadwood.

From another perspective.

It was hot!🥵 I didn’t particularly want to melt away from the heat, so it was a quick hike.

One of the trees that overhangs the pathway. I also saw my little friend Mr. Squirrel, busy foraging for his winter stores.

The creek that flows under this bridge…..

…has a lot of sediment in its bed however the water is crystal clear. You can see the leaves that have sunk and the one (I circled it) that was floating downstream.

It was a nice and quick hike but too warm! Tomorrow, the temps begin cooling off until from Saturday and going forwards, the highs are in the mid 60’s and rain is forecast every day. It remains to be seen whether this will play out as the ocean can change the weather almost in an instant!

Now, for the hidden gem! In the garage- hidden beneath the radial arm saw, was this……

I guess it’s a good ‘shroom environment; dark and cool! 🍄‍🟫

That’s it for today. Tomorrow begins my workweek which will be busy-I’m sure. At least my one dependable coworker is back from vacation! 😅
