Lovely snow photos! It's amazing how just a couple hundred feet or a little more in altitude, can completely change wheather it's rain or snow you get! At least it's only 20 minutes away!
If you moved there, what happens when the snow socks you in? Is it easy to get out to get supplies, or are you kind of stuck?

Photos are taken in a village with a population of about 4000 people, lots of shops, it's not remote at all to be cut off from civ in case of heavy snow, it's just situated at higher altitude in the mountains so the weather behaves differently.
Sounds like maybe you should look for a cabin or a house there!
