DISCOVERY OF THE SPOTTED TORTOISE BEETLE // Photography behind the macro lens camera, golden crickets and spotted tortoise beetles
Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

In this post I will share my experience and success in finding two very interesting insects, namely the spotted tortoise beetle and the golden cricket, of course this is something that happened intentionally and the results are quite satisfying.Seven days I didn't make a post, this is because I was sick, but luckily now I am healthy again to do activities, I managed to find these two unique insects in a palm oil plantation, and the discovery of the spotted tortoise beetle really surprised me
Actually, my main purpose in entering the oil palm plantation was to hunt for mushrooms, but because it was the dry season, it was very difficult for me to find them. However, luckily there I managed to find a golden cricket perched on a wild flower.

The golden cricket is still one of the most interesting types of cricket in my opinion, at first glance its shape looks very similar to a grasshopper, it has an elongated body, has wings, and two large legs for jumping, but this is a cricket. This golden cricket is very different from the crickets that we often find in the house from its shape to its color to its habitat, this cricket is often found in the forest, precisely on top of wild plants.
In the area at the edge of the garden, I also managed to find a spotted tortoise beetle perched on the leaves, but this beetle did not let me take a picture of it, when I wanted to approach it, suddenly this beetle flew towards the grass.

I myself quite often find beetles like this, but this is the first time I have found a beetle with colors and spots as beautiful as this, at first glance the shell still looks transparent and is still the same as most turtle beetles in general, but look at the back, it is orange white and has many black spots all over its body.

This particular beetle didn't want to stay still at all and kept moving when I wanted to take a picture of it, it kept walking around the grass but luckily it didn't fly.

To get maximum results, I also tried to move this beetle to a more open place so that I had enough light when I wanted to photograph it. I know this is a flying insect that will fly when it feels threatened, so with great care and I tried to move it, in the afternoon sunlight the picture I got looked much more beautiful with very detailed results.

I also tried to photograph this beetle from various different angles, starting from the top, bottom, and side, and I felt quite satisfied and happy because I succeeded in doing it.
