Rennes surroundings (part 2) - Lightpainting on Hive

Hello!

During spring, I spent a couple of days driving my van around the city of Rennes.

I met friends and made some lightpainting during the night when the weather was nice.

One night, I've been to this very nice windmill which was fully restored only a couple of weeks before my visit. I spent a very nice moment here.

WHAT IS LIGHTPAINTING?

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.

You managed to paint some very beautiful patterns. What light sources did you use and how long was the exposure?

Thanks @kadr-pokaze.
I used a home-made RGB LED stripe, a single orange LED, a small flashlight with a couple of diffusers (orange and white) and a powerful flashlight for ambient lighting.
You have camera settings in description.

Your lightpainting sounds really cool. I love that you visited the windmill and captured it with this technique. Night photography like that must be so much fun.

Oh yeah, It's really nice to do lightpainting sessions on such cool locations. Outdoor lightpaiting gives me a lot of joy while doing it. Thanks for your feedback @jazlove
