Castle of the Order of the Knights Templar in Ponferrada
Discovering this small city of León-Spain. Incredible castle of the order of the Templars that in this week I have to get a ticket to visit it completely.
The words Knight Templar are always associated with fiction in my brain, especially Assassin's Creed games. (There's even a storytelling trope with the name,) so I keep forgetting they were real #people !
They were real people only from the 11th or 12th century. The castle of Ponferrada is from the XII century and reconstructions that took place in the XV century and some retouches in the XIX century and XX century according to the web page of the castle. I hope tomorrow or the day after tomorrow to go inside and see it.
