My entry for the Phone Photography Contest Round -101

When I was at my daughter's house sitting playing with my grandchildren and helping them with activities they were sent from school, I noticed that on the neighbor's property there was a very pretty plant that was hanging over another one, perhaps to allow for better growth.

Cuándo estaba en la casa de mí hija sentada jugando con mis nietos y ayudandolos a realizar actividades qué les mandaron de la escuela veo que en el terreno de la vecina tenía una planta muy bonita qué era colgada sobre otra para permitir quizás su mejor crecimiento.

I asked her if she knew the name of the plant, but she said she didn't know exactly, but the person who gave it to her said it was essential to have one of those at home because with one leaf it relieves the bites of poisonous animals such as scorpions, centipedes, snakes or worms.

Le pregunté si conocía el nombre de la planta pero me dijo que no lo sabía exactamente pero quién se la regaló a ella le comentó que era indispensable tener una de esas en el hogar debido a qué con una hoja alivia las picaduras de animales venenosos cómo por ejemplo alacranes, ciempiés, serpientes ú gusanos.

So I'll try to find out a little more about that plant, and since I don't know how, I'll ask if they would please give me one to keep here at home because, honestly, if they do, I would love to have one. I'll sign off now, but not before thanking them for the opportunity to participate in the weekly #phonephotography contests sponsored by my friend @untilwelearn. Everyone is welcome to participate, with the only condition being that the photos are taken with a cell phone.
