Phone Photography Contest #64: Old and new cars

Hello, FeelGooders and Hivers!

This is my entry to Phone Photography Contest #64.

When I see an old car, various thoughts come to mind.

My first though is whether that car can be restored and given a new lease of life.

What is needed is someone with the skill, passion, and ability to make an old automobile shine again.

Such a person may be a rare quantity, but I think that there will always be technically minded people who can show some tender loving care to a car model that was much loved in the past.

Sometimes, it’s all that’s needed.

Unless you don't want to get yourself in the trouble of rescuing an old car, which can be tougher than you may think.

In this case you can opt for a brand new car, like the one in the following photo.

Of course, not everyone can afford the luxury of owning a new Mercedes, let’s face it. What about an older model, like this one?

Older Mercedes models have more than stood the test of time.

Nowadays, old Mercs are sought after by car enthusiasts, and not without good reason.

Boasting an engine that literally runs forever will make up for a high price tag in the long run.
