[ENG-ESP] Last Days of Summer 2026 | My Entry to Phone Photography Contest #132

Hello lovely community! October has started and I am very excited to be here, writing and sharing things on Hive, and starting new projects, like the new university course and my job hunt. And with this wave of motivation that the start of the new school year brings, there's also that beautiful feeling of looking at summer vacation photos and treasuring those memories. Today I'll be sharing a bit of them with you through these photos I took with my phone, as I almost always do, since I spend my time with my phone in hand taking pictures of everything. So, I will be participating in the 132nd edition of the smartphone photography contest. I hope you like it.

Last Days of Summer: A Stroll by Lake Zurich

As I have shared before, one of my dreams is to travel a lot and see many places, and in the last couple of years, I have started doing just that. Between last year and this one, I've been able to visit other cities in Spain, and I also traveled with my boyfriend on vacation to my home country (I still need to show you photos from that trip). This year I have started exploring other countries in Europe. It was somewhat quick and exciting, a backpacking kind of trip, a few very well-spent days where you walk a ton and your little feet ache, but you feel completely satisfied and happy, as if you had lived several days in a single one.

On this occasion, I'm showing you photos of a beautiful, perfect walk on a summer afternoon by Lake Zurich.

Throughout the entire walk, we could hear artists playing live music while we enjoyed the breeze and the last rays of the strong sun we had that day.

We saw many birds swimming or taking their energy-purifying baths right there at sunset. Further ahead, where there is grass, there were many young people and families gathered having a barbecue, listening to music, and playing with balls or frisbees. For my photos, I preferred the feathered models almost the entire time, but I think you can appreciate the good summery atmosphere that was there.

All the photos in my posts are taken by me unless another source is indicated. I took these, as almost always, with my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, and they do not have any kind of editing.

Últimos días de Verano: Paseo por el Lago de Zurich

Hola linda comunidad! Octubre ha comenzado y estoy muy emocionada de estar aquí, de estar escribiendo y compartiendo cosas en Hive y de estar empezando nuevos proyectos, como el nuevo curso de la Universidad y mi búsqueda de empleo. Y con esta ola de motivación que trae el inicio del nuevo año escolar está también el sentimiento bonito que da ver las fotos de las vacaciones de Verano y atesorar esos recuerdos. Hoy estaré compartiendo con ustedes un poco de ellos a través de estas fotos que tomé con mi teléfono, como hago casi siempre, ya que me la paso con el teléfono en la mano tomándole fotos a todo, y así estaré participando en la edición #132 del concurso de fotografías tomadas con el celular. Espero que les guste.

Como les he compartido antes, uno de mis sueños es poder viajar mucho y conocer muchos lugares y en el último par de años he empezado con eso. Entre el año pasado y este he podido conocer otras ciudades de España y también viajé con mi novio de vacaciones a mi país (tengo pendiente mostrarles fotos de ese viaje). Este año he empezado a conocer otros países de Europa. Fue algo rápido y emocionante, del tipo de viaje mochilero, de pocos días muy bien aprovechados donde se camina un montón y duelen los piecitos pero uno se siente completamente satisfecho y feliz y como si hubiese vivido varios días en uno solo.

En esta ocasión les enseño fotos de un lindo paseo perfecto en una tarde de verano junto al Lago de Zurich.

A lo largo de todo el paseo pudimos escuchar a artistas tocando música en vivo mientras disfrutábamos de la brisa y los últimos rayos del fuerte sol que hizo ese día.

Vimos muchas aves nadando o haciéndose sus baños purificadores de energías allí junto al atardecer. Y más adelante donde hay césped había muchos jóvenes y familias reunidos haciendo parrillada, escuchando música y jugando con pelotas o frisbees. Para mis fotos preferí casi todo el tiempo a los modelos con plumas, pero creo que se puede apreciar el buen ambiente veraniego que había.

Todas las fotos de mis post son tomadas por mí en caso de que no indique otra fuente. Estas las tomé, como casi siempre con mi google pixel 9 pro XL y no tienen ningún tipo de edición.
