Phone Photography Contest #79 (Food Photography)

Hello everyone! 👋

It's great to be back joining this lovely #phonography contest initiated by our good friend @untilwelearn with the support of some lovely people here. 🥰

We had power interruption the other day for more than three hours so I needed to purchase data for my phone because no power means no wifi and I needed it for work. Since I have the data, I took the chance to upload photos on ecency which is impossible with just using my home wifi. The problem with data, it expires quickly so I feel like it's a waste of money when I only need it for just a few hours or a day at most. Oh well, that's life.

I am now entering these photos of the chicken sandwich that I prepared and enjoyed. With food, it's always a feel good time for me. From preparing it, making it beautiful and kind of making it smile for my phone camera to finally eating it. 😉 Yum! 😋

I first prepared the chicken breast for frying. I butterflied it so it'll become thinner and easier to cook through while frying. And surprisingly became a heart shaped chicken breast. ❤ I generously seasoned it with sea salt, freshly ground blackpepper, smoked paprika, dipped in beaten egg and on the crushed oat crackers that I used to crumb the chicken. I tell you what, that made the chicken so crisp on the outside and moist in the inside but cooked through.

It turned out so beautiful. I arranged the lettuce on a sliced toasted bread, put on the sliced chicken (I sliced it for easy eating), topped it with a sandwich spread which is basically a mix of mayo and chopped pickles, then arranged the cucumber, tomato and red onion slices and lastly the other toasted sliced bread to make it a sandwich.

Super easy to make and look how quickly I finished the first half. 😅
