How I make Organic fertilizer for my Vegetable Garden

avatar

Happy Tuesday everyone, friends.

Today started off with a bit of a mixed bag, with light sunshine and partly cloudy skies. Although the presence of sunshine is less in the areas outside Dhaka. Still, we hope the skies will clear and the clouds will move away, dry in our city.

Even though it won't happen even if I want it and it's unlikely to happen, we hope and try to express our interest. Like expressing hope and interest in my vegetable garden, every time I hope for a good harvest but in the end it doesn't always happen. For example, last time I had a beautiful gourd garden but the yield was not very good.

But I changed my mind and started tending my garden differently. Actually for this reason I try to understand and gain knowledge about organic fertilizers from my own position. Tried to clear the idea on several topics and watched many tutorials from YouTube, so that a clear idea about making organic fertilizers is created.

Honestly I have had great results with it too, I make my own compost at home with multiple ingredients and get great results using it. This time we got good yield in green chillies, papayas, Malabar spinach and now in gourds. I will introduce this organic fertilizer through today's post.

The first thing I did, after eating ripe bananas at home, I kept the peels in a bowl. I store several ripe banana peels like this and keep them in a bowl with water for seven days. During these seven days, the banana peels rot and become soft.

Then I add a small amount of urea and potash because they also play a very useful role in the soil. I mix urea and potash, then mix them in a mug with some water. Then leave them like this for some time.

I also save the tea leaves I use every day without throwing them away, thus accumulating a good amount by brewing a little each day. Also save the onion peels after cooking at home, soaking them in a little water to prevent them from rotting. Although I have used them before.

Then I first loosen the soil at the base of the garden plants, then add the banana peel water there. Then I move the soil away from the base of the plant and make a round circle, then add rotten onion peel, then old used tea leaves and lastly add water mixed with urea and potash.

It is a very effective organic method, which increases the fertility of the soil as well as the yield of the plants. I am really happy to use this organic fertilizer and see the beautiful yield of my garden.

All are my original Photography, device Redmi 9.

Thanks all.
