We take in one last look at the stunning view over Sapporo from a rocky outcrop at the top of Maruyama Park.
But after the effort comes comfort. Our son, a true food lover, booked us a table at a fine dining restaurant: Komatsu.

This exceptional kaiseki restaurant is tucked away in the quiet Maruyama district. At the helm is Chef Takashi Komatsu, former executive chef of Elm Garden — a true reference.

The meal, both refined and elegant, highlighted the harmony of colors, textures, and flavors, all beautifully in tune with the season. Yet another lovely surprise from our boy.

Nous profitons une dernière fois de la magnifique vue sur Sapporo depuis un promontoire rocheux, tout en haut du parc de Maruyama.
Mais après l’effort, place au réconfort. Notre fils, fin gourmet, nous a réservé une table dans un restaurant gastronomique : le Komatsu.

Ce restaurant kaiseki d’exception est niché dans le quartier paisible de Maruyama. Aux commandes, le chef Takashi Komatsu, ancien chef exécutif de l’Elm Garden. Une vraie référence.

Le repas, à la fois esthétique et délicat, mettait en valeur l’harmonie des couleurs, les textures et les saveurs, avec une belle cohérence de saison. Une autre belle surprise offerte par notre garçon.
