Living My Faith

Hello dear Hivers,

Today is church day—a gentle reminder for all of us to pause, reflect, and reconnect with our faith. In the middle of our busy schedules, endless responsibilities, and daily struggles, it is very easy to forget what truly matters. Many of us wake up already thinking about work, errands, family matters, or plans with friends. Before we know it, the day is over, and we realize we did not make time for God. This message is a simple but heartfelt reminder: no matter how busy life gets, let us not forget to attend church.

Church time usually takes only about one hour, yet the impact it brings to our hearts and minds can last far longer. That one hour of worship, prayer, and reflection can give us peace, strength, and guidance for the entire week. It helps us realign our priorities and reminds us that we are not alone in our journey. When we choose to spend time with God, we open our hearts to His presence and allow Him to work in our lives.

Before going out for leisure, traveling, or attending social gatherings, let us first put God first. There is nothing wrong with enjoying life, resting, or spending time with loved ones. However, when we prioritize worship before anything else, we show gratitude and humility to our Creator. Everything we have—our life, strength, opportunities, and blessings—comes from Him. Giving Him our time is one small way of saying thank you.

Attending church is not just about fulfilling an obligation; it is about nurturing our spiritual well-being. It is a time to listen to God’s word, to learn, and to be reminded of love, forgiveness, patience, and compassion. It is also a chance to be part of a community, to support one another, and to grow together in faith. Sometimes, the message we hear during the service is exactly what we need to face the challenges ahead.

So today, let us slow down and reflect. Let us set aside our worries, our busy schedules, and our distractions, even for just one hour. Let us give time to our Creator, who never fails to give us time, grace, and mercy every single day. When we put God first, everything else falls into its proper place. May we all be blessed as we choose faith, gratitude, and devotion today and always.

I am a Roman Catholic, and I respect people of other religions. While I am firm in my own beliefs and faith, I also value understanding, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence with those who follow different religious traditions. I believe that mutual respect among people of all faiths helps build harmony, compassion, and unity in society.

Thank you for taking the time to read and see you on my next blog.

When I was in the city working,.I would go to church only in special occasions.

Now, somehow I do every Sunday.
Just want to be grateful
