Hiking Memories!

Hello Hive family!

I am feeling nostalgic today. With winter approaching, I realize my time in Hong Kong is coming to an end soon.
Hmmmm... and so I was looking through some old photos I was about to delete from my gallery and decided to save them here on Hive instead. Maybe in the future, I can come back to these posts and relive these beautiful memories.

One of the things I will miss the most is going on hikes during the cooler season and capturing the moment with some selfies in nature.

The pictures I share today were taken from a hiking adventure in winter 2020, where I was hiking alone. Even in winter there are sunny days here, a perfect time for a hike—as you can see, I am just wearing a sweatshirt!
I ended up camping on Hidden Beach in the Sai Kung District, and oh, how I wish I could do that one more time before I leave Hong Kong! But nowadays, it doesn't feel as safe to sleep outdoors here in Hong Kong as it once did (as you can see, since 2018 the crime rate was increasing every year).

I hope you enjoy the photos! I already consider this my little photo album, Hive family. Hehe...

Thank you so much for all of your support. Until the next post... God bless!

You're truly a free spirit and it's a good thing you're saving these here for memory's sake. I do this sometimes too.

I'm curious though; I noticed in some of the pictures that the bottle is turned over and dug into the sand. Also, there's some extra sand on the base. Is there any particular significance to this action?

I just played with that bottle for fun. You know, if being alone with oneself sometimes one is getting strange ideas, hehe. 😊

Your photos are in the right place @gen-quimba. Good thing about this post is it makes readers value their past. You Hongkong journey must be so memorable and good that you ended up recollecting them today. I hope you get to do camping before leaving that country. Just make sure to do it safely.

Thank you for stopping by and your nice comment, @whosee! Already in the mid of October I will go back to the Philippines, so I try to enjoy my last days in Hong Kong.

Crime even in Hong Kong! Wow, I'm surprised. My impression was that it was a safe place to be. We walk around my neighborhood here in the dark with confidence (of course, we do have a big dog with us--he looks like a wolf 😄), but we can't do that everywhere in the larger community.

Hive is a great place to store memories. I look back at some of my early blogs. Reading them brings back the time and place when they were written. In just a few years, my life has changed.

You're very brave to to take your future in your hands and act positively. 🌸

I have to say that of course Hong Kong is still rather save compared to other countries, for example the Philippines...

It's true, the posts here are a beautiful storage of our memories.

And yes, that future... exciting and worrying at the same time, hehe.
