A Quick Escapade to Toledo: The Joyful City

Hello! How are you dear Hive Friends? I hope you are all fine and in good condition right now. As for me, I'm in the hospital with my husband. He was confined last Thursday because of so many complications. I will share with you in my next blog about him why he was rushed to the hospital. But for this blog, I would like to share the place we visited or dropped by before we continued our trip to Sibonga, Cebu for a very important reason last sunday.

How We Get There and All About Toledo

From San Remigio to Toledo, we traveled more or less 95 km via a private car owned by my sister. We passed by different municipalities like Tabuelan, Tuburan, Asturias, and Balamban. Toledo City is the 3rd class municipality in the Province of Cebu and is known for its main industries such as mining, fishing, agriculture, and trading. Toledo is also known as the Home of the Phillipines' Largest Copper Mine. This is operated by Consolidated Atlas Mining and Development Corporation.

The Toledo City Parish

Toledo City Parish is the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of Saint Jhon of Sahagun. Sagahun is an Augustinian friar and priest declared by Pope Alexander because he was a peacemaker and reconciler.

Toledo Plaza

We departed very early. That's why we don't have breakfast yet. We just brought some food and find a comfortable place to park for a while to have our breakfast. It was exactly 7 am that we arrived at Toledo City. And we felt hungry. So we decided to take our dinner at the Toledo Plaza. This is one of the tourist spots of Toledo City. Many people visit the place because it has cool, green, fresh air. Well-landscaped spaces and very relaxing. It is also equipped with a table for guests who need some space for dining. With a clean and safe comfort room for personal necessities.

Toledo Gaisano Grand Mall

Gaisano Grand Mall is one of the leading supermarkets and shopping malls in the Visayas. It provides quality and affordable items to all clients. It is located at Sangi, Toledo City, Cebu Philippines.

Toledo City is considered a joyful city. It has several tourist spots that we surely enjoy if we visit the entire place. We haven't visited the entire City since we still need to proceed to our main journey.
