Hello to all the members of this community and cat lovers! I have a cat named Ikki, who is currently being cared for by my partner. I can't have him with me in the apartment where I live. Due to a medical condition (bilateral cryptorchidism), Ikki hasn't been able to be neutered, and having him in a small space with a neutered cat (my sister's) would be a real challenge. Not to mention that Ikki is very attached to my boyfriend, so he would get depressed if they weren't together. This has led me to only be able to be with my little panther when I visit them about every two months.

✨ The beauty of a black cat is worth appreciating under the rays of the sun 🌞✨

Don't believe it, being away from Ikki saddens me, but it relieves me to know not only that he's with his favorite human (even though I spoiled him a lot when we lived together 😅), but that he has access to a large plot of land where his paws can touch the ground and he can soak up the sun's rays (something my sister's cat no longer has). Anyway, I try to cherish these moments when we are together, in the hope that we can finally be reunited very soon 😉

Ikki isn't alone; he lives with other cats in the house... or well, something like that 😅 since Ikki has a very difficult personality and doesn't get along with the other cats (I imagine it's because he's not neutered 🙃), on that note, I'd like Ikki to be able to enjoy the company of other felines, like them... but living together has become impossible, so he limits himself to keeping Ikki's distance from the rest of the cats... He's the most rebellious cat, and now that I made him a new blue jeans harness, he looks like a real "bad" cat 😝

✨I don't know why I feel like the only thing Ikki needs with this outfit is a motorcycle 😎✨

To make the harness, I took Ikki's new measurements from my last trip and used my feline nephew (my sister's cat) as a model... although it was quite funny because my sister's cat is fatter, so the harness didn't fit him 😆 but I'm so glad it fit Ikki perfectly. Every time I see him walking with great determination in the same outfit, I double-check it because the previous one did limit the movement of his front legs a bit, so I had to make some corrections (I make the pattern myself by eye). Of course, as soon as I can, I'll publish the harness-making process for anyone who wants to try making their own 😉

✨I love seeing him outside, exploring the possibilities 🤠✨

Despite his sullen appearance, Ikki is still a sweet kitty to me. When he lets me hold him and I talk to him like he's a baby, I can see that tenderness in his eyes 😳 My boyfriend used a photo taken of Ikki and, through Copilot, got a hilarious image of Ikki with a wicked expression. He was just sleepy! 😆 I get it; sometimes our features don't match our feelings. I know that beneath that expression of boredom and hatred for the world, there's a spoiled kitty who just wants to be pampered 😚💕

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad y amantes de los gatos! Tengo un gato llamado Ikki, el cual está actualmente al cuidado de mi pareja, ya que en el apartamento donde vivo, no puedo tenerlo conmigo, puesto que debido a una condición médica (criptorquidia bilateral), Ikki no ha podido ser castrado y tenerlo en un espacio pequeño junto a un gato que sí está castrado (el de mi hermana), sería un completo desafío; sin mencionar que Ikki está muy apegado a mi novio, así que se deprimiría si no están juntos. Esto me ha llevado a poder estar junto a mi panterita únicamente cuando voy a visitarlos cada dos meses, aproximadamente.

✨ La belleza de un gato negro, es digna de ser apreciada bajo los rayos del sol 🌞✨

No se crean, estar alejada de Ikki me entristece, pero me alivia saber no solamente que está con su humano favorito (a pesar de que yo lo malcriaba mucho cuando vivíamos juntos 😅), sino que tiene acceso a un terreno amplio, en donde sus patitas pueden pisar la tierra y puede recibir los rayos del sol (algo que el gato de mi hermana ya no posee). En fin, trato de apreciar estos momentos en los que estamos juntos, con la esperanza de que podamos estar reunidos definitivamente muy pronto 😉

✨ Con sólo una pose, un gato puede demostrar tanta elegancia 😳 ✨

Ikki no está solo, convive con otros gatos en la casa... o bueno, algo así 😅 ya que Ikki tiene un carácter muy difícil y no se lleva con el resto de los gatos (me imagino que es por el hecho de no estar castrado 🙃), por ese lado, me gustaría que Ikki pudiera disfrutar de la compañía de los demás felinos, como ellos... pero se ha hecho imposible la convivencia, así que se limita a mantener la distancia de Ikki del resto de los gatos... Es el gato más rebelde y ahora que le hice un nuevo arnés de tela de blue jeans, parece todo un gato "maloso" 😝

✨No sé porqué siento que lo único que le hace falta a Ikki con éste outfit, es una motocicleta 😎✨

Para elaborar el arnés, tomé las medidas nuevas de Ikki en mi viaje anterior y utilicé a mi sobrino gatuno (el gato de mi hermana) como modelo... aunque era bastante cómico, porque el gato de mi hermana es más gordo, así que el arnés no le cerraba 😆 pero me alegra mucho que le quedase a la perfección a Ikki. Cada vez que lo veo caminando con mucha determinación con el mismo puesto, lo corroboro, porque el anterior, si le limitaba un poco el movimiento de sus patas delanteras, así que tuve que hacer unas correcciones (el patrón, yo misma lo hago al ojo por ciento). Por supuesto, en cuanto pueda publicaré el proceso de elaboración del arnés, para aquel que desee animarse a hacer el suyo 😉

✨Me encanta verlo afuera, observando las posibilidades de exploración 🤠✨

A pesar de su aspecto huraño, Ikki para mi sigue siendo un gatito tierno. Cuando me deja cargarlo y le hablo como si fuese un bebé, puedo ver esa ternura en su mirada 😳 Mi novio utilizó una fotografía que se le tomó a Ikki y a través de copilot, obtuvo una imagen muy chistosa de un Ikki con una expresión malvada ¡Sólo estaba adormilado! 😆 Yo lo entiendo, a veces nuestras facciones no van a la par con nuestro sentir. Sé que debajo de esa expresión de tedio y odio hacia el mundo, hay un gatito malcriado que sólo quiere ser mimado 😚💕
