🐾 | The story of Cariñosito and two little visitors.
Hello to everyone in the Caturday community and to all the feline lovers on Hive! This is my first time stopping by; I think I’ve been missing out on a lot of great things, considering cats are my best friends.
I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend with your beloved pets. This Saturday, I’m dropping by to share a little story about gazes, curiosity, and the special affection these little creatures give us—whether at home or out exploring the countryside.
The king of the house: Cariñosito
Let me formally introduce Cariñosito, my cat. And I am Diego López (@encuentro on #hive). As you can see in the photo, he has regal green eyes and an expressive gaze. Here, I caught him being curious from up high, resting on the table with a posture that is both elegant and alert. Cariñosito is an incredible companion; he’s always involved in whatever I’m doing and makes sure our home has that unique touch of feline warmth.
A moment of rest
Sometimes his fearless, playful side kicks in, and he’s ready to pounce at any moment. Here, he was up on a piece of furniture, stretching his paws and sizing up the distance for his next move. It’s amazing how he goes from being completely alert and ready for action to seeking out the most comfortable spot for a good nap.
A moment of total relaxation
And speaking of naps, here he is curled up like a little donut. When Cariñosito curls up on the floor like that, nothing in the world disturbs him. With his white paws tucked in and the sense of calm he radiates, it’s a joy to see him resting after patrolling the house all day. It’s his job, hehehe.
A pleasant surprise at a friend's farm
But the story doesn't end at home. This morning, I visited a friend's farm—he keeps a herd of cows—
and I stumbled upon a beautiful surprise: a pair of little siblings with dazzling blue eyes! This little one,
a Siamese-type cat, settled right into a woven iron chair, looking completely at ease. Despite living in an open country setting, he was incredibly friendly with me from the very first moment. 
Here is the other little brother, resting calmly on a wooden table. They have a clear, deep gaze that instantly captivates you. It is lovely to see how animals raised among livestock and the nature of the countryside develop such a noble and curious temperament toward visitors. Without a doubt, running into this pair completely made my day.
It is amazing how every cat has its own personality and charm—from the ones that keep us company every day...

I am very happy to have found this community; as I mentioned at the beginning, I have always liked cats. They are very useful, as they rid us of pests like rats and certain snakes, so I am grateful to be here with you all.

What a beautiful story and such charming photos! Cariñosito is a truly majestic cat, and those two little blue-eyed visitors are wonderful.
Hey friend, it's great that you commented here. He's a cat, and I gave him that name because he's very affectionate. He has his routine in the afternoons, and you know how he is—he always looks for you to cuddle. Honey, he spins around on the floor and then walks away calmly as if to say, "I've done my part, I've earned my snack."
You’ve got a really cute cat with a lovely name, hehehe.
Now the Siamese twins live in a cat palace, surrounded by nature and friends.

Good evening, dear friend. The truth is, Cariñosito is quite the star here at home; even when the pot starts boiling, he’s the first one to peek out to see if it’s his turn. Good afternoon, my friend @encuentro; I apologize for the delay in stopping by... life gets complicated on this side of the pond sometimes, too. I think this is a great introduction to the community. The photos are fantastic, and cats can make wonderful companions; the fact that they are so friendly with you shows that you are a good person... cats really know who to approach.

How's it going? Good evening, my friend @enraizar. I’m glad you stopped by this post, because what you told me matches something Mr. Pedro Corona—the owner of the cows where I went to see the kittens—told me. He told me that his herd—made up of 15 cows and a breeding bull—doesn’t accept just any visitor, and he even let me pet them, and they behaved very well. The bull stared at me intently, and Mr. Pedro told me that he has to stay alert because he’s the owner of this herd and must command respect, but that the bull has never been aggressive; that means he took a liking to you. I told him I’d come back to help herd the cows on the hill and learn a little about the world of these animals and this kind of work; it might come in handy later, and he replied, “Great, we’ll work something out; that goes along with what you told me: animals know who to treat well and who not to. Thanks.”
