Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

I hope your Caturday has been a good one, and that you are enjoying your weekend!

You expect me to actually CARE about that thing?

Yes, it's Caturday again, and that means time to share another round of cat photos from our little corner of the world.

The Mom-Hooman is out of town this weekend, so the house is pretty quiet. She went to Seattle to spend some time with the Daughter-Hooman, who's expecting her first baby within the next 2-3 weeks.

The Dad-Hooman does his best to pay attention to us all, but there are more cats than there are hands in the house... which is in violation of "Rule Number One."

Bat that's OK, we don't mind too much as he tends to be very good about distributing extra treats when the Mom-Hooman is not here!

Things don't always go as planned. This past week we were going to be all about steeping up our engagement for Curator Cat here on Hive... but instead we got caught up in something completely different that was clamoring for the Dad-Hooman's attention.

Sometimes I think our Hoomans would have a much easier time in life if they just have what they call "regular jobs" in which they weren't responsible for keeping so many different things balanced, all at once.

But they'd probably not be as happy about their lives, though...

Are we going to play, or what?

Meanwhile, the Mom-Hooman has started giving Smudge her spring trim... which is a fairly long process that happens over a couple of weeks as Smudge's thick winter coat starts to come loose.

Smudge is large part Norwegian Forest Cat, which means she was basically bred — originally — so thrive outside in Norwegian winters; severe freezes and lots of snow.

Smudge is SO FLUFFY!

So anyway, we didn't get up to speed on our personal "engagement challenge," so now that might have to be postponed until the start of April, because the Dad-Hooman is going to be really busy "doing taxes" for the next couple of weeks.

But we are definitely looking to "do more" because otherwise we won't reach the goal of getting to 6,000 Hive Power this year!

I'm watching you!

Speaking of "not as planned," I can't say that I think much of the current downturn in the Cryptosphere. We were starting to feel hopeful as Hive cam back close to $0.35 last month... but that's also gone now, and it feels like very "shaky" ground now.

I try not to worry too much, as we're not really that exposed outside of Hive, but the "trickle down" effect seems to touch pretty much everything...

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
