Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Sometimes it seems like we don't pay enough attention to time, around here... such as making sure that we cat our Caturday posts out when it is actually Caturday!

Hey! Pay attention!

It just happened again: we're running late!

The Dad-Hooman says it has to do with being "self-employed" and the weekends actually being the busiest time for him. Maybe that's true... but really? Give a cat a break!

Sadly, the Mom-Hooman is still not feeling very well, so she's in no mood to step in and create blog posts for us, either!

Shangri, taking a nap. He's gotten to be almost too big for most of the cat beds!

Thankfully, we're all pretty laid back about things, and when things don't unfold the way we had hoped for, we do what eny good cat might do: Find a cozy place to curl up and take a nap!

I know the Dad-Hooman is worried a lot these days, because there's a "tax payment" due at the middle of October, and the Hoomans have been struggling to make ends meet.

Nala is also a dedicated member of the Nap Club!

We're not too worried, though... as long as the flow of cat treats and food keeps going, all will be well!

Completely unrelated: Got a lot of nice interaction on the post about Hive likes/dislikes from a couple of days ago. Thanks to everyone who has been participating!

Smudge, sacked out in the sunshine!

This past week we actually had a visit from the Hooman who was our Smudge's original Hooman caretaker.

The left Smudge with us when she moved away to the Dominican Republic, not wanting to subject an elderly cat to international travel and a life in tropical jungles.

Anyway, she was back in town after 3 1/2 years away, primarily to pick up some boxes and pieces of furniture the Hoomans had been storing in their garage.

I don't think Smudge really remembered or knew who she was... it has been a long time, and Smudge is gettin very old!

Sunny spots on the WALL are pretty useless!

Although I try not to fixate too much on numbers, the recent price development with our Hive token has been very disappointing.

I don't care as much about the actual price as about the rapid descent of Hive's ranking in the global crypto market cap listings. We're basically not holding our own against other alt coins.

Just leave me to my nap!

But we're not going to sweat it... at least we are having fun with the cat blog!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
