Mi Top #1 Viajar con mi niña (Parte II)

Hola, hola, sobrinos guapos y sobrinas linda de @lifestyle. Hoy les traigo la segunda parte de Mi Top Viaje con Lucía. Gracias por permitirme ser miembro de esta Comunidad y permitirme compartir y leer de ustedes tantas experiencias agradables. Si les soy franco, la Primera Parte es más bello y espiritual. En esta ocasión les quiero escribir sobre Boca de Canasí y la famosa Cazuela. La magia del lugar junto a las espectaculares experiencias que he tenido en ese destino. Le he visitado muchas veces desde que era “más niño”, pero este viaje representó un antes y un después en mi vida como viajero y como padre.

Antes de continuar, les comento que escribo este post para @lifestyle y no en @worldmappin porque tiene una espiritual tan grande para mí que no era posible escribir solo como la aventura vivida.

Les aseguro que mi vida cambió por completo después de estos tres días que estuvimos a los pies de la colina, entre las rocas y el mar. En especial, le dio un giro insospechado a nuestros paseos padre-hija.

Boca de Canasí

Ahora sí te detallaré un poco sobre este destino no oficial (por el momento) y La Cazuela, su más preciada joya. Hago el paréntesis de (por el momento), porque como mochilero he experimentado en todos estos años que cada vez más se restringen los destinos naturales, se monetizan, “organizan”… Entre ellas, la empresa Gaviota, se adueña cada vez más de los recursos naturales y, de seguir así, pronto tendremos que pedir visado para visitar el jardín de los vecinos. En mi mentalidad de mochilero, tengo entendido que para cobrar por un recurso primero debes haber creado alguno. No considero decente monetizar por un servicio natural, sin que tú propicies un valor agregado para el placer, el óseo, la interrelación… Cobrar por un sitio al aire libre sin más, creo que se va de la mano del mercado. Pero así van las cosas por acá. Muchos son los espacios que en otro tiempo eran senderos libres que Gaviota se los ha ido sumando a sus arcas. No sé en vuestros países, pero acá sucede.

Dicho esto, si mañana visitas La Cazuela de Boca de Canasí y aparece un empleado de no sé qué negocio y te cobra por caminar por el medio del monte, no me culpes. Hasta ayer era gratis. Los paisajes naturales de este destino te gustarán de sí o sí. Es una pasada a lo grande. Y cuantos más exploradores vengan, tanto mejor. El Sendero comienza con un desafío quebrantable. Sin embargo no les recomiendo perderse esta experiencia.

Cruzar el río: nuestro primer reto

Entre las joyas más preciadas que guardo en el baúl de los recuerdos son las “primeras veces”. Estoy muy agradecido con Dios por permitirme vivir esos momentos únicos, irrepetibles, en que mi hija conoce algo por primera vez: el eco, el helado, los viajes, la montaña rusa, las nubes por debajo, el baile español… Muchas, muchas experiencias con las que se ha encontrado, yo he podido estar presente. Para llegar a la Cazuela desde el poblado Boca de Canasí es necesario cruzar el abra del río. Este fue nuestro primer reto y la primera vez que lo experimentamos juntos.

Las interrogantes resueltas por los lugareños; la sensación de caminar al vacío aunque tengas los pies sobre la tierra, el sendero, las vistas del abra…

No crean que llegamos a la orilla, cargué a Lucía a mis hombros y pan comido: cruzamos. No. Mi niña valiente caminó a través de las aguas del río hasta donde su altura le permitió. Luego fue que terminamos el trayecto fluvial a caballito.

Con toda la poesía del momento tengo que confesar que no es gran cosa del otro mundo, ni necesitas un platillo volador proveniente de Saturno para cruzar. Según las orientaciones de los habitantes del caserío, hay un “camino” por donde el fondo es más elevado y, en dependencia de la marea, lo cruzas como si nada. Nosotros estábamos tan emocionados que todo nos pareció más electrizante que si realizásemos la travesía por el Amazonas.

Nota viajera:

Existe un vecino con una balsa que te cruza por un precio aceptable. También hay pescadores que te llevan en su embarcación hasta la misma Cazuela (ya este taxi es más mucho más caro, como es de esperarse). Si van muy cargados pueden alquilar la balsa y matan dos pájaros de un tiro: cruzan caminando por el río y no tienen que cargar sus cosas.

Algo más. Si van en su coche personal, o en bici, y no quieren hacer esta travesía amazónica, pueden llegar por otro sendero hasta La Cazuela desde Puerto Escondido. Pero se perderían el reto.

¡Llegamos! La Cazuela

Como te escribí en el post anterior (Mi Top Viaje con Lucía Parte I) La Cazuela es un accidente realizado por el mar en la piedra viva. Un lugar que guarda su belleza a la par de la diversión que representa lanzarse desde lo alto. Significativa es la adrenalina que se experimenta en estos juegos. Por mi parte, me divertía ver a los jóvenes retándose en diferentes acciones para prevalecer el o la más poderosa y temeraria.

Debajo tienes la cueva para conversar en la intimidad.

Los paisajes marinos son mágicos, asombrosos. Existe una cantidad y una variedad de peces de colores que os quedáis fascinados.

Diversión y misticismo

En la Cazuela de Canasí no solo te diviertes en sus senderos y aventuras locas. Acá, los colores que disfrutas en el alba y el ocaso son una magia. Yo prefiero los atardeceres. Todo el lugar, la mística conexión del mar con la roca y la vegetación de su entorno.

El fuego y los diálogos junto a la hoguera, la noche apacible surcada por barcos de pesca y el susurro del mar en calma (como si recobrase fuerzas para arremeter mañana), el abrazo de tu hija impregnado de satisfacción y agradecimiento…, son anécdotas que solo aquí puedes experimentar.

Despedida Padre-Hija

Uno de los valores más apreciados para el baúl de mis tesoros viajeros son los destinos de Naturaleza que hemos realizado juntos en familia y con amigas y amigos.

En esta ocasión, Lucía y yo no solo experimentamos un paseo genial, sino que compartimos la primera gran experiencia de mochileros de verdad. Luego, gracias a Dios, hemos recorrido otras tierras encantadoras; pero aquel fue nuestro primer gran amor viajero.

My Top #1 Trip with my daughter (Part II)

Hello, handsome nephews and lovely nieces of @lifestyle. Today I bring you the second part of My Top Trip with Lucía. Thank you for allowing me to be a member of this Community and allowing me to share and read so many of your pleasant experiences. To be honest, the first part is more beautiful and spiritual. This time, I want to write about Boca de Canasí and the famous Cazuela (Cazuela). The magic of the place along with the spectacular experiences I've had there. I've visited many times since I was a kid, but this trip marked a turning point in my life as a traveler and as a father.

Before continuing, I'd like to let you know that I'm writing this post for @lifestyle and not @worldmappin because it has such a spiritual connection for me that it wasn't possible to write about the adventure alone. I assure you, my life changed completely after these three days at the foot of the hill, between the rocks and the sea.

In particular, it gave our father-daughter walks an unexpected twist.

Boca de Canasí

Now I'll tell you a little about this unofficial destination (for now) and La Cazuela, its most prized jewel. I'll digress (for now) because as a backpacker, I've experienced over the years that natural destinations are becoming increasingly restricted, monetized, and "organized"...

Among them, the Gaviota company is taking over more and more natural resources, and if this continues, we'll soon have to apply for visas to visit the neighbors' gardens. In my backpacker mindset, I understand that to charge for a resource, you must first have created one. I don't consider it decent to monetize a natural service without providing added value for pleasure, for the soul, for social interaction... Charging for an outdoor space for no reason, I think, goes beyond the market. But that's how things are around here. There are many spaces that were once free trails that Gaviota has been adding to its coffers. I don't know about your countries, but it happens here.

That said, if tomorrow you visit La Cazuela de Boca de Canasí and an employee from some business or other shows up and charges you to walk through the woods, don't blame me. Until yesterday, it was free.

You'll absolutely love the natural landscapes of this destination. It's a blast. And the more explorers who come, the better.

The Trail begins with a formidable challenge. However, I don't recommend missing this experience.

Crossing the River: Our First Challenge

Among the most precious jewels I keep in my treasured memory are the "first times." I am so grateful to God for allowing me to experience those unique, unrepeatable moments when my daughter experiences something for the first time: the echo, ice cream, traveling, the roller coaster, the clouds below, Spanish dancing... I have been present for many, many experiences she has encountered.

To reach La Cazuela from the town of Boca de Canasí, it is necessary to cross the riverbank. This was our first challenge and the first time we experienced it together.

The questions answered by the locals; the sensation of walking into the void even with your feet on the ground; the path; the views of the riverbank...

Don't think we reached the shore. I carried Lucía on my shoulders and it was a piece of cake: we crossed. No. My brave little girl walked through the river waters as far as her height would allow. Then we finished the river trip on horseback.

With all the poetry of the moment, I have to confess that it's not that far-fetched, nor do you need a flying saucer from Saturn to cross. According to the villagers' directions, there's a "path" where the seabed is higher, and depending on the tide, you can cross it as if it were nothing. We were so excited that it all seemed more electrifying than if we were actually making the Amazon crossing.

Traveler's note:

There's a local with a raft that will take you across for a reasonable price. There are also fishermen who will take you on their boat to La Cazuela itself (this taxi is much more expensive, as expected).

If you're carrying a lot of cargo, you can rent a raft and kill two birds with one stone: you can walk across the river and not have to carry your belongings.

One more thing: If you're traveling in your own car or by bike and don't want to make this Amazon crossing, you can take another trail to La Cazuela from Puerto Escondido. But you'd miss the challenge.

We've arrived! La Cazuela

As I wrote in the previous post (My Top Trip with Lucía Part I), La Cazuela is a feature carved by the sea into the rock. A place that preserves its beauty alongside the fun of jumping from the top. The adrenaline rush experienced in these games is significant. For my part, I enjoyed watching the young people challenging each other in different actions to win the title.

The seascapes are magical, amazing. There is a quantity and variety of colorful fish that fascinate you.

Fun and mysticism

At Cazuela de Canasí, you don't just have fun on its trails and crazy adventures. Here, the colors you enjoy at dawn and dusk are magical. I prefer the sunsets. The whole place, the mystical connection of the sea with the rocks and the vegetation surrounding it. The fire and the conversations by the bonfire, the peaceful night crossed by fishing boats and the whisper of the calm sea (as if regaining strength to attack tomorrow), your daughter's hug filled with satisfaction and gratitude... these are anecdotes that you can only experience here.

Father-Daughter Farewell

One of the most cherished treasures in my travel treasure chest are the nature destinations we've visited together with family and friends. On this occasion, Lucía and I not only had a wonderful trip, but we also shared our first real backpacking experience. Later, thank God, we've explored other enchanting lands; but that was our first true travel love.
