Atardecer Tranquilo (Esp/Eng)

Un viernes por la tarde mientras todavía decidía qué día iba a regresar a Cumaná, salimos a la playa cercana. Fue un momento de sentarnos a hablar sobre la vida y otras cosas. Nos acompañó Juanita.

Mientras conversábamos sobre cualquier tema, unos pescadores se alistaban para lanzarse al mar. @lunaticanto me preguntó si salían a pescar a esa hora o si lo hacían en la madrugada. Lo bueno es que me sabía la respuesta. Le comenté que los pescadores regresan en la madrugada con lo que atrapan en la noche. Es un trabajo donde se pasa mucho frío. Algo se esto me lo contaron mis abuelos que vivieron por años a la orilla de la playa.

Debo confesar que tuve la oportunidad de capturar tres atardeceres durante mi estadía en Lechería, este es el más tranquilo de todos. No hay mucho para recalcar además que los colores están interumpidos por un muro que separa Bahía Redonda de la aldea de pescadores. Los muros dividiendo sectores económicos no son nuevos, pero el efecto que causan a la luz del atardecer es algo mágico.

Podría ir a sentarme a hablar de la vida todos los días. Con tal compañía, cómo no. Espero que mi futuro tenga mucha playa, atardeceres y cuentos de todo tipo.

Tranquility

On a Friday afternoon while on the process of making a decision of whether to stay the weekend or go back to Cumaná, we went for a stroll to a nearby beach. It was a nice time to chat about anything. Juanita, the dog, came with us.

While we were at it, some fishers were getting ready for their daily routine. @lunaticanto asked me if they were going to fish. She wondered if it wasn't something done before done in the early hours of the day. Fortunately, I knew the answer to this. I replied that they come back at dusk with the catch of the day. This much I learnt from my grandparents since they lived near the sea for quite a long time.

I must confess than from all the sunsets I captured on camera during my stay in Lechería, this one has a lot of chill vibes. There's not much to say about how the colours are broken by a wall that divides Bahía Redonda (the rich zone) from the fishermen's houses.

I could sit at that beach and talk about anything every single day. With such great company, how could I not? I hope my future days are filled with beach trips, sunsets and stories.
