18 Years - A New Stage

14 years ago, my family was gathered at home, since it was a special occasion and full of many symbolisms, by that time I was turning 18 years old, officially before the law and much of the world I was no longer a child to become an adult, Undoubtedly for me that meant an enormous joy, but at the same time it marked a before and after in my own history, since the stage of games and individualistic thoughts was over, to give way to a new life, I was getting closer and closer to the labor field and collective responsibilities.

18 Años - Una Nueva Etapa

Hace 14 años, mi familia se encontraba reunida en casa, puesto que se trataba de una ocasión especial y llena de muchos simbolismos, para ese momento yo estaba cumpliendo 18 años de edad, oficialmente ante la ley y buena parte del mundo ya yo dejaba de ser un niño para convertirme en una persona adulta, sin duda alguna para mí eso significaba una alegría enorme, pero al mismo tiempo marcaba un antes y un después en mi propia historia, ya que se acababa la etapa de los juegos y los pensamientos individualistas, para darle paso a una nueva vida, ya me acercaba cada vez más al campo laboral y a las responsabilidades colectivas.

Birthdays have always represented an important moment in my life, but there is no doubt that there are some that really make a difference, since on these family gatherings we also find unique moments and unrepeatable experiences. When scrolling through the images, we can also find those beloved members of our family who no longer accompany us in person, since for some reason or another they have changed plane and observe us from another dimension.

Desde siempre los cumpleaños Siempre han representado un momento importante dentro de mi vida, pero no cabe duda de que existen algunos que marcan realmente la diferencia, ya que sobre estos encuentros familiares también encontramos momentos únicos y experiencias irrepetibles. Al recorrer las imágenes, también podemos encontrar a esos miembros queridos de nuestra familia que ya no nos acompañan de forma presencial, puesto que por alguna razón u otra han cambiado de plano y nos observan desde otra dimensión.

A party is a moment of relaxation, joy and spontaneity, but it is also a space where the family unites around a common event, it is a moment where bonds and ties are strengthened, more personal approaches are created and at the same time unforgettable memories are generated.

Una fiesta es un momento de distensión, alegría y espontaneidad, pero también es un espacio en donde la familia se une en torno a un acontecimiento común, es un momento en donde se fortalecen los lazos y los vínculos, se crean acercamientos más personales y al mismo tiempo se generan recuerdos inolvidables.

At that time my mind was not very clear about the transcendence of that family meeting and today I can assure that beyond a change of stage, beyond a personal event, the family union is the most important and the most valuable element within these images, since it is that interaction that allows us to grow as people, fill with joy and love the hearts of others and in the end it is all about creating beautiful common memories that will survive through time.

Para ese momento mi mente no estaba muy clara en la trascendencia de ese encuentro familiar y hoy en día puedo asegurar que más allá de un cambio de etapa, más allá de un acontecimiento personal, la unión familiar es lo más importante y el elemento de mayor valor dentro de estas imágenes, ya que es esa interacción la que nos permite crecer como persona, llenar de alegría y amor los corazones de otros y a final todo se trata de crear lindos recuerdos comunes que sobrevivirán a través del tiempo.

To remember these moments is to travel through the years, reliving feelings, reliving anecdotes and drawing from all these experiences the knowledge and learning that will serve us to continue taking advantage of every moment of our present and our future. Sometimes society forces us or pushes us to have a frivolous and empty mentality, but in this life what really matters is love, friendship and those fraternal bonds that allow us to unite as a family, to move forward and conquer all the goals and objectives that we have set for ourselves.

Recordar estos momentos es viajar a lo largo de los años, reviviendo sentimientos, reflotando anécdotas y sacando de todas estas experiencias esos conocimientos y aprendizajes que nos servirán para seguir aprovechando cada instante de nuestro presente y nuestro futuro. A veces la sociedad nos obliga o nos impulsa a tener una mentalidad frívola y vacía, pero en esta vida lo que realmente importa es el amor, la amistad y esos lazos fraternos que nos permiten unirnos como familia, para esta manera salir adelante y conquistar todas las metas y los objetivos que nos hemos propuesto.
