The Foodaholic Festival: A Memorable Experience [TBT]

It’s Throwback Thursday again, guys!! I love reminiscing and sharing past events with you all, it feels so good to do this.

So today, I’ll be sharing memories from a food event I attended last December. While making this post, I realized I attend food events more than any other type of event or could that be because I am a foodie? Or food events just feel different, regardless I love food events and I’ll keep attending them!😃

I love food events so much, I love how you don’t need to do too much, and how there are no restrictions.

I attended the Foodaholic Festival in another city. It was a festival for food and drinks and I attended this event when I went to visit my family last year.
I do more solo outings and this event was one of them. I’ve come to realize that you can still have fun by yourself.

For this event, we had a proper food competition. Chefs were grouped into different teams in different colours.
Each team had a representative, and each representative came on stage to cook different dishes and where judged by the parliament.

It was nice to see people cheer their teammate on and celebrate when they won.

We also had free yogurt testing, this brand gave out free yogurt to people in cups and if you enjoyed it enough you could buy from them.

The event wasn’t limited to only food vendors as other vendors were in attendance too. At first, I wondered why we had other vendors present at a food event until the sandals I wore went bad, and I had to buy a pair of slippers at the event. I couldn’t help but be grateful for their presence.

The highlight of my day was seeing Asherkine. Asherkine is a celebrity and philanthropist in my country so it was nice to see him do his thing at the event. The audience went wild the moment he came on stage as we knew a lot of people were going to go home with some goodies and Asherkine didn’t disappoint.

I bought some food and drinks, I networked with a few people, laughed, walked around the venue, danced, took some pictures, and went home when I was exhausted.

Since it was during the festive period there was a lot of Christmas decor everywhere giving the Christmas vibes.

In all, I enjoyed myself on this day and can’t wait to attend the next edition by December, I know I’d have a swell time again🥰

That’s all for today guys, see you next week Thursday with another fun memory to share with you all.

All images are mine except otherwise stated.

Thanks for stopping by
Loads of Love🥰🥰
XOXO

Great! What a joy and satisfaction it is to eat, so being at a festival like this must be very enjoyable, and may those friends continue to triumph.

Yum yum 😋.... I haven't attended any food event before but I do know I will attend more of it than any other. Yhhh I'm a foodie and a proud one at that 😂.

I can see just how much you must have enjoyed on this day from the yoghurt to all other meals presented.
And the decor??? It's breathtaking ❣️
