Weekly Drone Post Contest going on pause.
It seems my life and work has gotten busier and busier. I'll be taking a pause from the weekly contest posts for a bit. Could be a couple weeks or couple months as I decide what to do next or see if other quiets down a bit.
I've been manually curating, voting and posting these each week, and to be honest it's become more of a job now vs. just enjoyment.
I'll make a post when I'm ready to rethink if we restart the contest, modify it or change it.
Folks can still post and comment to the group of course, and I will still be following and upvote nearly all posts from the Drone account and from my personal account with vote amounts appropriate to the post quality.

Thanks for your hard work. It's really difficult to keep communities going here on Hive because of the lack of inactivity, trust me, I get it, tried a few times at this point. People just care about reaping rewards, not about actually building a community, unfortunately. That's why most of my drone content is on Instagram. I don't get paid, but I have a better drone following and more importantly, building important connections in the community.
Thanks for understanding. I just need a break overall, and this is just one area I'm needing to cut back a bit. I'll still be around, but may be spotty for the next few weeks while I re-group. I'm hoping this will free up more time for my own creativity pursuits and posts. I'll revisit in a few weeks when other things calm down.
Yep, I know all about that! LOL. Enjoy life sir! I'll still be here ripping packs and posting some great freestyle content, and trying to bring others over!
If you need help feel free to ask other curators in the incubation, they may be able to take a look daily at posts that could use curation while you need some time off. You can use the general channels there to ask. Just a suggestion.
