Can Batman Save Barbara Gordon??

In my previous post, Batman finally found Scarecrow on the 2nd airship. But the game is still on, who knows what is about to happen?

Batman entered the main lab where Scarecrow was creating the toxin gas. But Batman was affected by the toxin before so he was watching two scarecrows there. The Joker was mocking him and was telling him to choose the right one. But Batman grabbed the neck of the illusion and by that time, the real Scarecrow poisoned him again with the toxic gas. Batman was about to lose his senses as the fear in him was breaking out. But at that moment, Batman became someone else.

His eyes turned green and his voice became funny, just like the Joker. Yes, the fear of Joker took control over his body and he started to act like Joker. He became merciless and started to kill every soldier in the room one by one.

Scarecrow was shocked, watching Batman kill his men. Batman knocked him down on the floor and aimed a gun at him. The ghosts of Joker were telling him to shoot, kill the Scarecrow and Batman pulled the trigger.

After the incident, Batman got back his senses. So all those things were hallucinations. But yet Batman felt guilty. Joker was able to take control of him and he pulled the trigger willingly. He broke his oath.

Scarecrow was surprised watching Batman recover from the hallucination so easily. The toxin gas cloud burst was ready. Scarecrow knew how to take the whole container in style. He blasted the roof of the airship and pulled out the container from the airship using a military helicopter. That scene was too good. It felt like the real movie.

Arkham Knight was in control of the helicopter. He was still unknown to Batman, no record, no identification, just the name. That criminal picked up a bazooka and launched a missile targeting Batman. Batman skillfully dodged the missile but the blast hit him hard and he became unconscious

Batman got back to consciousness after Alfred called him. Scarecrow was doing a live broadcast from one of his hideouts. He was showing Barbara Gordon, tied to a chair. Scarecrow was mocking Batman, giving him a challenge to save Barbara.

There was no time left. Alfred located the hideout. It was in Chinatown. Batman rushed and headed to the place where Barbara was kept as a captive.

When Batman reached there, he found Barbara was unconscious, locked in a room made of bulletproof glass. Batman called her but she couldn't hear anything. In that time, Scarecrow appeared on the screen, laughing at Batman. He released some toxic gas in that room and then Barbara woke up. But due to the effect of the gas, she couldn't recognize Batman and thought he was a monster that came to catch her.

In fear, she took the gun that was on the table and shot at Batman. She started to cry and all of a sudden did an unexpected thing. She shot herself in the head. That was terrifying.
