The Kidnapped Scholar.

I accepted a rescue contract where I had to locate a kidnapped scholar in a desert camp. Adhering to a strict no-kill request, I slipped past the guards, carried the scholar out on my shoulder, and brought him to a city where he revealed the truth about a treasure.

A scholar has been kidnapped by bandits, and I had to rescue him. And for that, I had to ride to the desert where the scholar has been held. I guided my mount across the shifting sand dunes toward the distant bandit camp.

After reaching the spot, I found the area was guarded by trained bandits, and using Eagle Vision, I found the location of the scholar as well. So I just infiltrated inside the camp quietly, dropping down from a high ledge into a haystack.

After getting there, I noticed there were bandits around me that I could easily assassinate. And I was close to the scholar as well, but the contractor request was not to kill anyone. So I just let the guards go, and patiently tracked their patrol routes from the shadows instead of striking.

When it seemed clear, I crouched toward the scholar, and he said he was not in a situation to walk. So I just carried him on my shoulder and was looking for a way to get out of the camp without being seen.

After the guards moved and gave me a way to get out of the camp, I started crouching outside quietly. And an archer almost saw me, but I don't know why he was not confirmed, which made it easy for me.

After getting out of the camp, I could just place the scholar anywhere and finish the quest, but I decided to take him into civilization, as he mentioned he was not well, and I didn't want him to die outside.

After getting the city through Four Markets Gate, I stopped there and placed the scholar around a stable, and he stood up like he was not so sick. And he told me the truth about the treasure for what he was being kidnapped.

Until next time, happy gaming.

The scholar took one look at you and immediately decided his legs didn't work, lol. Just look how well he was after you rescued him into the city. No way he was unable to walk.

Yeah he was totally fine after reaching the city. Cool actor, even acted well with the bandit to stay alive.

The scholar acted like he was on his deathbed in the desert, but the city air miraculously cured his legs instantly, hahaha. If I ever do this mission when I'll play this game, I'll leave him in a dense forest with leopards around, lol.

Hahaha well said. I'm thinking I should retry the contract and do this to him if there's an option, lol.

Watching the sick man suddenly stand up perfectly fine near the stable was an unexpected twist. And from dialogue, I can tell he acted with the bandits and he also acted with you.
