Cartoons

It's incredible how the years go by and little by little we leave unforgettable moments behind; for the generation born in the late 80s and early 90s, it's almost impossible to imagine an afternoon without cartoons, snacks, and a relatively carefree life. When I was in school, we all knew The Powerpuff Girls, The Pink Panther, Hello Kitty, and The Fairly OddParents, but as time went on, the demands of an increasingly busy life took us away from the TV screen, and those afternoons weren't so great anymore, but the memories were unforgettable.

Cartoons

Suddenly, we are 30 years old, and when we turn on our TV, we find a universe of cartoons that seems to have become a huge graveyard, as those old afternoon companions no longer occupy spaces in the regular programming and now new cartoons are emerging that, to tell the truth, we sometimes don't even understand.

In the heart of the city of La Fría, specifically between Calle 5 and Carrera 6, half a block from Plaza Bolívar, I come across this wall with no signature or author, which undoubtedly represents the memory of an era. You could say that it is a memorial of the first order, where the most important icons of our childhood are represented, and therefore it is impossible to walk down this block and not smile nostalgically.

Cool works with all these cartoon characters. As you said, The older ones among us spent many afternoons in their company, especially Dragonball Z for me 😀 Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.

Have a great Sunday

@heroldius I've been a little disconnected these days, but I think I'll be more active now. Greetings and hugs!
