Ciudad Mural La Asunción

Hola, hola, tenía un buen tiempo sin pasar por esta Comunidad de Arte callejero, me alegra compartir por aquí los murales que encontré en mi recorrido por la Isla de Margarita, tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar de la transformación que ocurrió en la Asunción con el proyecto de "Ciudad Mural". Hace unas tres semanas realizaron un festival de muralismo que reunió a diferentes artistas nacionales e internacionales para el desarrollo de cada obra.

Un poco de la historia y los agradecimientos fueron plasmados en una pared por los mismos autores, dónde indican que en total realizaron 15 murales que representan la "ofrenda, memoria y raíz" de nuestro pueblo. Llamaron al conjunto de estos murales "Galería a Cielo Abierto".

El casco histórico quedó hermoso y cada mural recoge la historia y la cultura de la Isla, hay murales dedicados a figuras emblemáticas, religiosas y de otra índole. El trabajo de los artistas es realmente impecable, cada detalle fue finamente cuidado, las expresiones de los rostros son muy realistas, y los colores definitivamente vibrantes.

Mi favorita sin duda fue la virgen quedó bellísima, además me encanta que tenga esa apariencia tan real, tan humana. Curiosamente cuando la fui a fotografiar un rayo del sol iluminó la pared y quedó retratado también en la foto.

Disfruté mucho de esta exposición de arte urbana, me encanta ver el desarrollo de este tipo de trabajos en mi país, siento que nos enriquecen culturalmente y también ofrece un atractivo turístico que invita a los turistas nacionales y extranjeros a visitar el pueblo, que además tiene muy bonitas casas coloniales.

La Asunción Mural City

Hello, hello, it's been a while since I've visited this Street Art Community. I'm happy to share here the murals I found on my trip to Margarita Island. I had the opportunity to enjoy the transformation that took place in La Asunción with the “Ciudad Mural” project. About three weeks ago, they held a mural festival that brought together different national and international artists to create each work.

A bit of history and acknowledgments were captured on a wall by the artists themselves, where they indicate that they created a total of 15 murals representing the “offering, memory, and roots” of our people. They called this collection of murals the “Open-Air Gallery.”

The historic center looks beautiful, and each mural reflects the history and culture of the island. There are murals dedicated to emblematic figures, religious figures, and others. The artists' work is truly impeccable. Every detail was carefully crafted, the facial expressions are very realistic, and the colors are definitely vibrant.

My favorite was undoubtedly the Virgin Mary, who looked beautiful. I also love that she looks so real, so human. Interestingly, when I went to photograph her, a ray of sunlight illuminated the wall and was also captured in the photo.

I really enjoyed this urban art exhibition. I love seeing this type of work develop in my country. I feel that it enriches us culturally and also offers a tourist attraction that invites domestic and foreign tourists to visit the town, which also has very beautiful colonial houses.
