As I've mentioned before, mural landscapes beautify the urban spaces of our city; any environment is strategic for projecting culture and showcasing the natural beauty that surrounds us. Each solitary wall comes alive with color and transforms, enlivening the place. And people can enjoy a brief respite indoors, becoming part of the landscape.

Las Calles Y Sus Murales

Como le he dicho en otras oportunidades, los paisajes muralistas embellecen los espacios urbanos de nuestra ciudad; cualquier entorno es estratégico para proyectar la cultura y mostrar la belleza natural que nos rodea. Cada muro solitario cobra vida con los colores y se transforma para dar vida al lugar. Y las personas pueden disfrutar un breve descanso bajo techo integrándose al paisaje.

This was the impression I got upon seeing this mural, a fresh painting where nature, in all its splendor, is integrated into a wall whose uneven structure lends itself to depicting the slopes of the mountain. Which, as we know, is a representation of our fascinating Ávila mountain, that natural refuge that separates the city from the sea.

Esta fue la impresión que percibí al ver este mural, una pintura fresca donde la naturaleza con todo su esplendor se integra en un muro cuya estructura desigual es propicia para pincelar los declives de la montaña. Que, como bien sabemos, es una representación de nuestro fascinante Ávila, ese refugio natural que aleja la ciudad del mar

And this same artwork blends with the religious figure, where the deep-rooted devotion to this saint in Venezuela transcends mere beliefs; his life is intertwined with history, because he dedicated it to helping the most needy, and after his death, his followers proclaimed him the saint of the poor, due to the miracles he granted. As always, the murals tell the story the artist wishes to express. Here is the artwork viewed from two different angles.

Y esa misma obra se mezcla con la figura religiosa, donde la devoción tan arraigada por este santo en Venezuela va más allá de sus creencias; su vida está anclada a la historia, porque la dedicó a ayudar a los más necesitados y, después de su muerte, sus seguidores lo proclamaron como el santo de los pobres, por los milagros concedidos. Como siempre, los murales cuentan la historia que el artista quiere expresar. Aquí les dejo la obra tomada en dos ángulos distintos.
