Found in Greymouth | CCC'S Street Art Contest #299 π³πΏ

This mural has historic background about the 34 men that was killed as a result of Kaitangata mineshaft explosion in 1879.
This explains why New Zealand is very strict on health and safety matters at the work place as I have heard reference to the Kaitangata explosions during safety talks at work.
Aside from the lessons learned and history about this mural, I had often sighted it when driving through Greymouth on High street, I finally got the chance to stop and photograph it on a day when I wasn't in a rush, October last year.
It is found precisely on 151 High street, Greymouth.
I could have aim a much better shot πΈ at Raja.is who I think is the artist but at the time of taking the photo, I missed the artist's name.
With mural, I am entering for this week's contest.
Good luck street art lovers β¨οΈ
Great mural about this disaster. I didn't know the Kaitangata Mine disaster, always interesting to learn something thanks to #StreetArt. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
Have a great day... and it's cool to know you're not always in rush mode π
I get some slow easy day as well and I love it when those days come at work π
