Hyvää Joulua!

(I'm going to greet you with the Finnish Christmas/Yule greetings for the next few days! "Hyvää Joulua" means "Good Yule" or "Merry Christmas".)

So I came home with a joulukuusi ("yule spruce", or "christmas tree").

While Vera and I were busy in the kitchen, we let the boys decorate the tree.

I was impressed they were actually happy doing something else than fighting eachother or staring at their cellphones all day.

Suddenly we had some peace, and real spirit of the season in our apartment.

They also found the angel bells, and decided to light up the candles and make the bells ring.

Must take better photo of this contraption next time. The golden angels need a dark background to be more visible.

All-in-all it was a very successful evening.

I'll go to bed now, because I need to wake up early tomorrow. My brother is going for a short business trip, and while he is passing by is bringing us a puppy box he made for Ninnu.
