Fort Myers Beach : Hurricane Ian 5 Months Later
We planned to make a stop in Fort Myers, Florida on our way up the west coast of Florida to see how they were fairing 5 months later after the devastation of Hurricane Ian. Needless to say, there is still a ton of work to be done, and construction crews are everywhere there still cleaning up the debris and starting the process of building back this southwest Florida hot spot.
Having been here before, it was really quite shocking to see how many places had just been wiped clean honestly with nothing left. Many lots are now just for sale. I assume owners deciding not to rebuild but just to sell this beachfront land that I'm sure is always in high demand.

It looks it. I saw Louisiana how many years after the flood and that place was still hurting. So it is not a shock that this community is still ruined. Thanks for the insights to the issues. !PIZZA
