Palm Trees Sun Light and Shadows: Contest/SMASh 411

Greetings,

My friends, how are you doing?

I am learning to get better at my photography skills in nature. The return to the beach in 2026 has given me so much joy that I am happy to share with you this particular moments.

The sand on the beach had a particular brown color that got a certain intensity. The light in my eyes was the reflection from the sunlight on the fine particle of salt dry in the sands.

It was not too intense but at the same time bright enough to generate the perfect shoot in this lively environment.
My adventure at the Ocean side was initially shape to be focus on the walk along the Ocean, but the beauty of the scenery got me off track for two or more hours.

Palm trees on the boarder of the coast were planted on a diagonal line. They were so small last year when I was walking pass this area.

It is a pleasure to see the small plants reaching higher and higher vertical dimension. I love to be under the large palms that offer shade.

The sun slowly rises on the coast, but the temperature reaches a special peak faster if you are not close to the waves. If you are close to this space where the palm trees are located you can find refuge for one or two hours.

--

The heat is going to trap you under the shape. Immobilization under the trees is one of the mistake you should force your mind to fight. If you do not find the courage to leave this temporary sweet spot, the sunlight will change orientation. In two hours max, your new spot under the shade is going to be the heated sand previously covered by the sun.

--

I had the chance to fall victim to this trick operated by both the sun and the sand. It was not funny, but I learned the lesson and prepared this time as I carried my rush mat.

It is a complex maneuver that will not be a problem when the height of the trees reach two meters. The trunk is too short at this stage of the development to offer enough shade or a large shadow to keep the ground around the tree cool.

--

The mat can also offer an intermediary soft surface between the sharp objects in the sand and the body as you lay down on the ground. It is sad to find broken glasses left after party in this area suppose to be safe place for family to rest and children to play barefoot in the sand.

Finding broken glass in the sand at the beach by getting impaled is never fun... Smart to bring a mat for protection while laying down, from the sand, heat, and glass. Nice shots, I love palm trees! Good luck in the Shadow Hunters this week, I may be sending you off some PIMP tokens if you win! lol
