Hello dear #ShadowHunters community,

This is my entry for the #ShadowHunters contest number 421.

Sometimes the most interesting shadows appear in the simplest places, where light meets everyday surfaces without any intention of creating something remarkable.

On this occasion, I came across a quiet scene: a wall receiving the shadow of some branches with flowers.

There was nothing particularly striking about the wall itself. It was just a plain surface, one of those that usually goes unnoticed as part of the background of daily life. However, the sunlight transformed it into something different.

The branches extended outward, and their shapes were projected clearly onto the wall.

What made the scene special were the flowers.

Their forms appeared softly defined within the shadow, creating small, delicate silhouettes that contrasted with the more irregular lines of the branches. Together, they formed a composition that felt both natural and carefully arranged at the same time.

The wall became a canvas.

On it, the light and the plants worked together to create a fleeting image — one that existed only for as long as the angle of the sun allowed it.

There was a certain calm in observing that moment.

The shadows did not remain completely still. A slight movement in the air caused the branches to shift gently, and with them, the shapes on the wall changed almost imperceptibly.

It was a quiet transformation.

Scenes like this remind me that beauty does not always need to be loud or complex. Sometimes it is enough for light to pass through something as simple as a flowering branch to create a moment worth noticing.

That is why I decided to photograph it.

Because in that simple wall, covered only by shadows, I found a brief composition made of light, flowers… and time.

Hola querida comunidad de #ShadowHunters,

Esta es mi entrada para el concurso #ShadowHunters número 421.

A veces las sombras más interesantes aparecen en los lugares más simples, donde la luz se encuentra con superficies cotidianas sin intención alguna de crear algo especial.

En esta ocasión me encontré con una escena tranquila: una pared que recibía la sombra de unas ramas con flores.

La pared en sí no tenía nada particularmente llamativo. Era una superficie sencilla, de esas que suelen pasar desapercibidas como parte del fondo de la vida diaria. Sin embargo, la luz del sol la transformaba por completo.

Las ramas se extendían hacia afuera y sus formas se proyectaban con claridad sobre la pared.

Lo que hacía especial la escena eran las flores.

Sus formas aparecían suavemente definidas dentro de la sombra, creando pequeñas siluetas delicadas que contrastaban con las líneas más irregulares de las ramas. Juntas formaban una composición que parecía natural y, al mismo tiempo, cuidadosamente creada.

La pared se convertía en un lienzo.

Sobre ella, la luz y las plantas trabajaban juntas para crear una imagen fugaz, una que existía solo mientras el ángulo del sol lo permitiera.

Había una cierta calma al observar ese momento.

Las sombras no permanecían completamente quietas. Un ligero movimiento del aire hacía que las ramas se desplazaran suavemente y con ellas cambiaban, casi imperceptiblemente, las formas sobre la pared.

Era una transformación silenciosa.

Escenas como esta me recuerdan que la belleza no siempre necesita ser llamativa o compleja. A veces basta con que la luz atraviese algo tan simple como una rama con flores para crear un instante digno de ser observado.

Tal vez por eso decidí fotografiarlo.

Porque en esa pared sencilla, cubierta solo por sombras, encontré una pequeña composición hecha de luz, flores… y tiempo.
