Hello dear #ShadowHunters community,
This time the walk was along the coastline, along that wide road that leads to the hospital and that so many people travel every day with different states of mind. It was early. The sun was just beginning to rise, but it was already making itself noticed.

There is a moment in the morning when the light is not yet fully intense, but it already has intention. It gently leans and begins to draw over whatever it finds. And this time it found some ornamental palms that form something like a fan, although I am not knowledgeable about plants, growing along the edge of the road.

Their open leaves, stretched like green hands toward the sky, seemed to welcome the day. And below, over the dry, pale grass, their perfectly defined shadows were projected. There was no asphalt in that scene. Only grass and light.
The shadows opened in the shape of a star, replicating each segment of the leaves.

They were sharp, almost exact, as if the earth were holding a natural drawing. Around each trunk, the grass became a canvas.
While I was walking, I noticed how the sun, as it continued rising, was slowly shortening those dark figures. It was an almost imperceptible movement, yet constant. A silent conversation between the sky and the earth.

The road toward the hospital usually feels practical, direct, even hurried. But that morning it had a different energy. The shadows made me look down, pause for a few seconds, and recognize the simple beauty that we sometimes ignore out of routine.

Perhaps I do not know the exact name of those palms. Perhaps I do not fully understand their species or their botanical characteristics. But I do know how to recognize when light transforms the ordinary into something worthy of contemplation.

And that morning, in the middle of the coastline, between the gentle wind and the distant murmur of the city, the shadows awakened with the day and made me awaken as well.

Sombras que despiertan con el día

Hola querida comunidad de #ShadowHunters
Esta vez el paseo fue por el litoral, por ese camino amplio que conduce al hospital y que tantas personas recorren cada día con distintos estados de ánimo. Era temprano. El sol apenas comenzaba a subir, pero ya se hacía notar.

Hay un momento en la mañana en que la luz todavía no es intensa del todo, pero ya tiene intención. Se inclina suavemente y empieza a dibujar sobre lo que encuentra. Y esta vez encontró unas palmas ornamentales que forman como un abanico, aunque no soy conocedora de plantas, creciendo a la orilla del camino.

Sus hojas abiertas, extendidas como manos verdes hacia el cielo, parecían recibir el día. Y debajo, sobre la hierba seca y clara, se proyectaban sus sombras perfectamente definidas. No había asfalto en esa escena. Solo césped y luz.
Las sombras se abrían en forma de estrella, replicando cada segmento de las hojas.

Eran nítidas, casi exactas, como si la tierra estuviera sosteniendo un dibujo natural. Alrededor de cada tronco, la hierba se convertía en lienzo.
Mientras caminába, noté cómo el sol, al seguir subiendo, iba acortando lentamente esas figuras oscuras. Era un movimiento casi imperceptible, pero constante. Una conversación silenciosa entre el cielo y la tierra.

El camino hacia el hospital suele sentirse práctico, directo, incluso apurado. Pero esa mañana tuvo otra energía. Las sombras obligaban a mirar hacia abajo, a detenerse unos segundos, a reconocer la belleza sencilla que a veces ignoramos por rutina.

Tal vez no sepa el nombre exacto de esas palmas. Tal vez no entienda del todo sus especies ni sus características botánicas. Pero sí sé reconocer cuando la luz transforma lo cotidiano en algo digno de contemplarse.

Y esa mañana, en medio del litoral, entre el viento suave y el rumor distante de la ciudad, las sombras despertaron con el día y me hizo despertar también.
