My Entry to the Shadow Hunter's Community SMASh Contest - Round 417

It was quite warm and sunny again today. We are being truly spoilt weather-wise. I called in at a local wooded area that I'd spotted on Google Maps.

Although I've never been here before, I'm always on the look out for new places to visit, especially woods and forests. I was able to park at the side of the road right next to the opening in the wood. It was only a small area, so plenty of sun was able to shine through the trees creating a lot of shadows on the ground, and also on the tree trunks.

Part of my walk led me past a row of houses with a wooden fence. This is where I turned back as it took me out of the wood.

After my short walk in the wood, I returned back to my village. It was far too nice to go inside so I had a walk around the village football pitch, where I found my favourite shadow. This is my entry to the Shadow Hunter's Community SMASh Contest - Round 417.
