Happiness is in the summer and in the shadows

A couple of weeks ago I enjoyed a nice weekend with my friends in Galicia, where I had a great time with them and some excellent culinary experiences.

During one of the dinners, washed down with a white wine from the Rías Baixas appellation, I also ordered a glass of water. In the past I would only have drunk wine on holiday, but nowadays I am much more moderate in my alcohol consumption.

Luckily, the glass came with a legend indicating that happiness smells of summer, and it is certainly a time of year when good weather always brings happiness.

After placing the glass on the table so that the light shone on it from the side, I could see that the shadow of the glass was projected onto the table, leaving the shadows of the letters on the glass on the table.

I was doubly happy to be summer and to have a shadow hunt. I continued the evening with my friends, but this will be part of another post that I hope to publish at some point, since after a few weeks of rest, I think I'll be back to my blogging activity.
