This is my application for the contest Shadow Hunters Community SMASh Contest- Round 431 by @melinda010100

Hey, @melinda010100.
How’s it going?
Do you remember my announcement about shadow hunting in the Circus? I did it.

This post is still for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108

Since my granddaughter came to visit us before the end of the summer, my wife decided to take her to the Circus and bought 3 tickets for the performance. Sasha's daughter was supposed to be the third, but for a number of reasons, the team was replaced and instead of one Sasha, another Sasha went, i.e. me.
When was the last time I went to the circus? About 10 years ago or even more. At that time, I went there with my daughter Sasha, and she was then less than our granddaughter Alice is now.
During this time, there have been many changes in our circus. I think the atmosphere itself has changed. In the late 80s of the last century, it somehow became the case that the artists themselves sold various toys and products before the performance and during the intermission. We have a circus performer friend, he has been retired for a long time, but I remember that in the summer he took his family on tour with him and they also traded in the circus.
Children were always riding on a camel in the arena, and of course for money.
And that made me happy. But I saw all the same chairs in the hall that I saw in 1980, when I first came to the Circus with my classmates.

The performance began with the exit of a clown, or rather two. During the performance, there was a clown in a black tailcoat who turned out to be a bear trainer. He was practically the head of a circus troupe.
And a couple of clowns, a man and a girl, entered the arena. Oh, how the children laughed! There was a girl sitting next to me, and she started laughing very contagiously at the very first clown appearance. Her mom told her to keep it down, don't laugh so loud.. but... It's good that the child is having so much fun.

My wife really liked this performance with pelicans. It was very impressive when this big bird suddenly started flying from somewhere above!

There were 3 pelicans. And I think it turned out to be a beautiful shadow! When training animals and birds, it is always necessary to use the natural skills of the training object. Pelicans have a huge beak with a bag for birds and birds can perfectly catch fish with this beak. It was this skill that the trainer used.
Two large dogs were also present with the pelicans. When we were driving home, I asked my granddaughter - what did you like the most? The answer was expected - dogs.

And there are clowns in the arena again. In the circus, clowns are needed most of all by young children. What jokes make children laugh? falls, kicks, everything is very simple. But children especially like it if clowns challenge children or their parents to the arena.
When I went to the circus with my older children, I usually bought seats in the second or first row. And, of course, the clowns challenged me to the arena several times. My children loved it very much. This time, my wife took tickets at the her work office, and they only offered "cheaper tickets", not in the front rows and not in zone No. 1.

And here's the clown, who was actually a bear trainer. This is the Filatov family dynasty of trainers. This was the central advertising trick on the banners. I also know the ancient Durov family of animal trainers, who have many areas of training different animals. And then there are the Zapashny brothers, tiger and lion trainers.
The Durovs were my favorites, but it's been a long time since I've seen an advertisement for their arrival at our circus.

A classic of the circus genre is a bear on a bicycle! They also ride scooters and motorcycles.

My children have grown up and I have no one to go to the circus with.
My eldest daughter doesn't like the circus when there are animals there. I've already told her about taking her grandson to the circus. I didn't get a positive response.

This is something I wouldn't expect - pelicans in the circus.
I haven't been in a circus for very long time. I don't know how it would feel if I go now.
