After traveling 3 hours from my home I arrived to a state of Venezuela that I did not know the state of Yaracuy, I had the idea that it was a region of cold and mountainous climate and although we are in the Christmas season which is usually cool, the embracing heat surprised me, seeing the architecture of the place along with the high temperatures I felt in tune with the Egyptian culture.

Finca la Faraónica | Construcción simbólica de las pirámides de Egipto en Venezuela

Arquitectura y diseño

Después de viajar 3 horas desde mi casa llegué a un estado de Venezuela que no conocía el estado Yaracuy, tenía la idea que era una región de clima frío y montañoso y aunque estamos en temporada navideña que por lo general es fresco, el calor abrazador me sorprendió, al ver la arquitectura del lugar junto a las altas temperaturas me sentí en sintonía con la cultura Egipcia.

Main entrance

Upon arrival we found the frame of the entrance that has sculptures of sphinx and in the center a kind of replica of Tutankhamun, with a line of symbols where animals like owls, birds and mountains, making the similarity of a message in hieroglyphics. I had not noticed it until I looked at the photographs. We entered and walked a few minutes contemplating the nature and the extension of the land, in the distance we could see the pyramids behind some trees.

When we arrived a little exhausted by the temperature we found the parking lot that serves as a basketball court, there is a long stone wall that seems to be a mountain carved and sculpted with symbols, animals and people, I tried to decipher the message, but I did not get it 😆.

Al llegar nos encontramos con el marco de la entrada que tiene esculturas de esfinge y en el centro una especie de réplica de Tutankamon, con una línea de símbolos donde se ven animales como búhos, pájaros y montañas, haciendo la similitud de un mensaje en jeroglíficos. No lo había observado hasta que mire las fotografías. Entramos y caminamos algunos minutos contemplando la naturaleza y la extensión del terreno, a lo lejos se podían ver las pirámides detrás de unos árboles.

Cuando llegamos un poco exhaustos por la temperatura nos encontramos con el estacionamiento que hace las veces de cancha de baloncesto, allí hay un paredón largo de piedra que parece ser una montaña tallada y esculpida con símbolos, animales y personas, intente descifrar el mensaje, pero no lo conseguí 😆

From here you can see the 3 pyramids up close built with solid raw cement blocks, they show the wear of time by the stains of rain and humidity that can be seen from the middle part to the base. I was able to see the three pyramids outside and inside, being impressed with its architecture and interior design 😱, I asked one of the sons of the owner how long it took to build all that space and he told me that about 20 years, but that his father is the second owner, later I talked to the owner and he told me that he saved 9 years to buy the farm.

The Pharaonic farm is divided into two spaces, one part is where the 3 pyramids are, the private house of the administrator and the restaurant and the other recreation area where the pool is, a kitchen for parties, public bathrooms and a clay pool and whirlpool. These two spaces are divided by a beautiful frame where I took some photos 😅

Desde aquí se puede ver las 3 pirámides de cerca construidas con bloques de cemento macizo crudo, presentan el desgaste del tiempo por las manchas de lluvia y humedad que se aprecia desde la parte media al hasta su base. Pude ver las tres pirámides por fuera y por dentro, quedando impresionada de su arquitectura y su diseño interior 😱, pregunte a uno de los hijos del dueño el tiempo que tardaron en construir todo ese espacio y me dijo que alrededor de 20 años, pero que su padre es el segundo propietario, más tarde converse con el dueño y me dijo que ahorro 9 años para poder comprar la finca.

La finca la faraónica se divide en dos espacios, una parte que es donde están las 3 pirámides, la casa privada del administrador y el restaurante y la otra zona de recreación donde está la piscina, una cocina para festejos, baños públicos y una piscina de arcilla e hidromasaje. Estos dos espacios se dividen por un marco bellísimo donde me saque algunas fotos 😅

Inside the pyramids

The largest is the pyramid of Cheops, it is the first to be seen and the second to be toured. The guide who is a girl dressed as Cleopatra very cute, gave us the tour explaining something of the Egyptian history of Cheops, Kefren and Mycerinus, I wanted to know the history and details of the construction of these pyramids and what was their motivation to create them, but the girl did not know this information.

Pyramid of Kefren

The first pyramid we entered was the pyramid of Kefren, the one in the middle. On each inner side of the pyramid there are designs in paint of fruits and symbols such as the pineal gland, of people in relief that resemble the life of the Egyptians.

La más grande es la pirámide de Keops, es la primera en verse y la segunda en recorrer. La guía que es una chica disfrazada de Cleopatra muy linda, nos dio el recorrido explicando algo de la historia egipcia de Keops, Kefren y Micerino, yo quería saber la historia y detalles de la construcción de estas pirámides y cuál fue su motivación para crearlas, pero la chica no sabía esta información.

La primera pirámide en la que entramos fue la de Kefren, la que está en el medio. En cada lado interno de la pirámide hay diseños en pintura de frutas y símbolos como la glándula pineal, de personas en relieve que asemejan la vida de los egipcios.

Pyramid of Cheops

Then we continue to the pyramid of Keops and this is the largest and most enigmatic because it looks small from the outside compared to the internal route. The entrance to this pyramid is made from below and for that you have to go down some stairs and enter through a corridor that is decorated with relief figures of people and many symbols with terracotta floor, at the end of the corridor you go up to the first level by iron stairs, here are some rooms with their bathrooms. Cleopatra narrated about the daily life of the pharaohs and showed each room of this pyramid, Cleopatra's bed is somewhat hard, made of granite but resistant to the weather 😁.

All the rooms have ventilation through a window that is not visible from outside 🤔, how strange. All the ceilings or sides of the pyramids have paintings, the most beautiful ones are of this pyramid with paintings about the life of the prophet Moses who was the Egyptian most persecuted by the pharaohs. This pyramid has a balcony with a breathtaking view of the mountains.

In total you climb 3 floors inside the pyramid and I forgot the number of rooms, I think there are 3 or 4 have bathrooms currently under repair and areas of small rooms.

Pirámide de Keops

Luego seguimos a la pirámide de Keops y esta es la más grande y enigmática porque se ve pequeña desde afuera comparada con el recorrido interno. La entrada de esta pirámide se hace por debajo y para eso hay que bajar unas escaleras y entrar por un pasillo que está decorado con figuras en relieve de personas y muchos símbolos con piso de terracota, al terminar el pasillo se sube al primer nivel por unas escaleras de hierro, aquí se encuentran algunas habitaciones con sus baños. Cleopatra narró sobre la cotidianeidad de los faraones y enseño cada habitación de esta pirámide, la cama de Cleopatra es algo dura, hecha de granito pero resistente al tiempo 😁

Todas las habitaciones tienen ventilación por una ventana que no se ve desde afuera 🤔, que extraño. Todos los techos o laterales de las pirámides tiene pinturas, las más bonitas son de esta pirámide con pinturas sobre la vida del profeta Moisés que fue el egipcio más perseguido por los faraones. Esta pirámide tiene un balcón con una vista de las montañas impresionante.

En total se suben 3 pisos dentro de la pirámide y olvidé la cantidad de habitaciones, creo que hay 3 o 4 poseen baños actualmente en reparación y áreas de pequeñas salas.

Pyramid of Mycerinus

It is the smallest and there we did a meditation and the activities that were scheduled for the trip that I will develop in another post. It had many life-size figures of people in relief.

When we left the pyramids we had lunch right there in the farm to later visit the recreation area.

Es la más pequeña y allí hicimos una meditación y las actividades que estaban programadas para el viaje que desarrollaré en otro post. Tenía muchas figuras de personas en relieve tamaño real.

Al salir de las pirámides fuimos almorzar allí mismo en la finca para conocer más tarde el área de recreación.

Recreational and medicinal pool

About 5 minutes from the pyramids are the pools, the clean water pool is first and is large and divided in two, a deep part for adults and a small part for children. It has a column with a silver owl on top and water cascades from there. Behind it are the ladies and men's restrooms and a built-in kitchen with two large countertops and sinks. Both the kitchen and the pool area are decorated with hieroglyphic relief figures.

Going down a dirt road and stairs we find the clay pool where the most daring dared to try it, next to this pool are the showers and beds for a hydromassage.

Piscina recreativa y medicinal

Como a 5 minutos de las pirámides están las piscinas, la de agua limpia está primero y es grande dividida en dos, una parte profunda para los adultos y otra pequeña para niños. Tiene una columna con un búho plateado arriba y desde allí cae agua en forma de cascada. Atrás se encuentran los baños de damas y caballeros y una cocina empotrada con dos mesones grandes, fregaderos. Tanto la cocina como el área de la piscina están decorados con figuras en relieve de jeroglíficos.

Bajando por un camino de tierra y escaleras nos encontramos con la piscina de arcilla donde las más atrevidas se atrevieron a probarla, al lado de esta piscina están las regaderas y camas para un hidromasaje.
