Guayana City Toll and its striking architectural design
Greetings friends, lovers of architecture and design, it is a pleasure to share my visit to the Ciudad Guayana toll, which is located on the Simón Bolívar highway in the state of Bolívar, when you enter through the state of Anzoátegui, on the last trip I made with my son we were anxious to arrive and it was very exciting to see the last toll that would take us to our destination, when we passed the first toll we thought we were close, but it was not like that, we still had several kilometers to travel to finally reach the city of Puerto Ordaz.
The offices have a striking design, the structure is rectangular with blue cornices on the top edges, sides and corners, the construction is long and is divided into several departments separated by blue columns and at the top of them there is a triangle, at the main entrance there is a gray roof that stands out, it also has a triangular shape and above it you can see the blue triangle that characterizes this office, this is different from the rest because it has a small rectangle in the center, where the upper ends of the triangle converge; the windows are made of glass and with blue bars, the walls are gray and in front there is a small garden covered with grass and plants such as palm trees and ixoras, the blue planters located in the tubes that support the roof of the toll have a curious and striking design, which I liked for its style and elegance, the gray stripes look very good, it is definitely a great detail that adorns the toll.
Saludos amigos amantes de la arquitectura y el diseño es un placer compartir mi visita al peaje de ciudad Guayana, el cual se se ubica en la autopista Simón Bolívar de el estado Bolívar, cuando entras por el estado Anzoátegui, en el último viaje un viaje que realicé con mi hijo estábamos ansiosos por llegar y fue muy emocionante ver el último peaje que nos conduciría a nuestro destino, al pasar el primer peaje creíamos que estábamos cerca, pero no fue así, nos quedaban aún varios kilómetros por recorrer para finalmente llegar a la ciudad de Puerto Ordaz.
Las oficinas tienen un llamativo diseño, la estructura es de forma rectangular con cornisas azules en los bordes superiores, laterales y esquinas, la construcción es larga y se divide en varios departamentos separados por columnas azules y en la parte superior de ellas se ubica un triángulo, en la entrada principal hay un techo de color gris que sobresale, tiene también forma triangular y encima de él se observa el triángulo azul que caracteriza esta oficina, este es diferente a los restantes porque tiene un pequeño rectángulo en el centro, donde convergen los extremos superiores del triángulo; las ventanas son de vidrio y con rejas azules, las paredes son de color gris y al frente hay un pequeño jardín cubierto con grama y plantas como palmeras e ixoras, las jardineras azules ubicadas en los tubos que sirven de soporte al techo del peaje tienen un curioso y llamativo diseño, que me gustó por su estilo y elegancia, las franjas de color gris se ven muy bien, definitivamente es un gran detalle que adorna el peaje.
This toll booth is characterized by its classic design, with yellow walls, payment booths, and lines indicating the lanes. The offices are located on one side of the road. They are blue and have a triangular shape in the upper center. The toll booth is made up of several aluminum booths painted gray halfway down, followed by glass panels and finally an aluminum strip that supports the roof. On the sides of each booth are yellow walls that demarcate the vehicle passage lanes. In front and back, yellow trapezoid-shaped walls indicate the entrance and exit to the payment booths.
Once the corresponding payment is made at the ticket office, you receive the ticket and the bar or tube rises so the car can continue on its way. What I liked most about this toll was its location, as it is very pretty and the view spectacular, with a natural environment. Upon leaving the toll and taking the highway, there is a kind of tent or road assistance module, where attention is provided to citizens. The tent has a very nice polyhedron-shaped design and the roof is green and gray. Before reaching the tent, there is a green rectangular cubicle, which provides security and information to users.
Este peaje se caracteriza por su diseño clásico; con muros amarillos, casillas donde se hacen los pagos correspondientes y líneas que indican los canales, a un lado de la carretera se encuentran las oficinas, son de color azul y tienen forma triangular en el centro superior, el peaje está conformado por varias cabinas de aluminio pintadas de color gris hasta la mitad, luego paneles de vidrio y finalmente una franja de aluminio que sirve de soporte al techo, en los laterales de cada cabina se ubican los muros amarillos que demarcan los canales de paso vehicular, al frente y posterior los muros amarillos en forma de trapecio, que indican la entrada y salidad a las taquillas de pago.
Hecho el pago correspondiente en la taquilla, recibes el ticket y sube la barra o tubo para que el auto continúe su camino, lo que más me gustó de este peaje fue su ubicación, pues el es muy bonito y la vista espectacular, con un entorno natural, al salir del peaje y tomar la autopista, hay una especie de carpa o módulo de auxilio vial, donde se presta atención a los ciudadanos, la carpa tiene un diseño muy bonito en forma de poliedro y en el techo los colores verde y gris, antes de llegar a la carpa, se encuetra un cubículo rectangular de color verde, que brinda seguridad e información a los usuarios.
As we finally passed the toll booth, my son and I were very close to our destination and more than ready to carry out our plans to tour the city. I would have liked to get out of the car and look at the offices, but because we were in a hurry to get there, we only stayed there for a few minutes and continued our journey to the lodging area.
Al pasar el peaje finalmente, mi hijo y yo estabámos muy cerca de nuestro destino y más que listos, para llevar a cabo nuestros planes de recorrer la ciudad, me hubiese gustado bajarme del auto y observar las oficinas pero por la premura de llegar, solo nos quedamos allí varios minutos y continuamos con el viaje hasta la zona de alojamiento.
