En el recibo se ubica también un hermoso cuadro del poeta, quien desempeño diversos roles en el ámbito político pero su papel más destacado fue el de poeta, su Obra más famosa fue "Pintame angelitos negros" un triste poema que hace énfasis en la marcada realidad social y racial que se vivía en esa época, a grandes rasgos relata la historia de dolor y sufrimiento una madre negra que pierde a su hijo y se consuela sabiendo que a pesar de que los cuadros siempre retratan ángeles blancos su bebé está en lugar muy feliz con Dios. En la entrada de la casa (parte frontal), se encuentra una estatua del poeta sentado en un banco leyendo un libro, una placa con la reseña de la restauración de la casa el año 1996, al cumplirse el centenario de su nacimiento, también la placa que identifica la casa como el lugar original donde nació este insigne poeta. After the poet's death, many pictures and photographs were added to the rooms and different spaces of the house; since it was to become a museum, they had to present to the public as many books, objects, photos and properties of the author to know a little more about his life.

Tras la muerte del poeta muchos cuadros y fotografías fueron agregados a las habitaciones y diferentes espacios de la casa; ya que al convertirla en museo debían presentar al público la mayor cantidad de libros, objetos, fotos y propiedades del autor para conocer un poco más sobre su vida.

Visitar esta tienda fue muy divertido y emocionante lo primero que captó mi atención fue la mesa, a simple vista su textura parece áspera, pedí permiso para tocarla y resultó ser muy suave y con un excelente acabado, me gustó mucho esta mesa no es común ver este tipo de mesas en las mueblerías su diseño sencillo me encantó, creo que ese el atractivo un diseño simple pero prolijo y atemporal.

Hi @storiesoferne, yes, it is a house of great architectural and cultural value with an excellent location in the center of the city very close to Plaza Bolivar, visiting it is a great experience with much to learn and see, too bad you can not touch certain furniture, I would have liked to see the piano inside, still it was one of my favorite visits to the iconic places of the city, tour the house and appreciate up close the details and decorations of the time is spectacular, the furniture is mostly original, they have only added varnish to preserve them in time, besides the originals they have added shelves in the second library (the old dining room) to organize the books that were donated in the centenary of the poet's birth, I think it is the perfect place to learn about the most important aspects of contemporary society, its norms, roles and lifestyle.

Exactly, it was a spectacular tour, which allowed me to learn a little more about the life of this poet, I only knew that besides being a writer he held several diplomatic posts, to see the house where he was born and part of the furniture of this is a great experience, in the city there is a well known educational institution that bears his name.
