My first day on the finca (2025.07.29)

I arrived on the finca yesterday (on 2025.07.28) around midday/noon.

Yesterday (and even earlier once) I had a brief tour of thls finca.

This finca is big. I am still getting to know this place.

My room and my bed is convenient.

I slept well.

I fell asleep around midnight, and today I woke up around 08:00.

I worked in the garden for two and a half hours in the morning. And I worked also two and a half hours in ths kitchen in the afternoon.

So I worked a total of five hours per day.

This (the five hours per day work) is the daily routine from Monday to Friday on this finca.

My weekends are free.

I do this work for the accomodation and for the daily food too.

So I am not paying rent (money) for the wood house accommodation.

There are various groups/teams on the finca.

And so far I worked only in the gardening team, and in the kitchen team.

Today in the morning I mostly watered plants. Even the ones in front of my accommodation. And I moved three plants from a smaller pot to a bigger pot.

I still have not seen every plant on the finca. Only approximately the half of it. And I will see the other half tomorrow morning.

Today in the afternoon I helped in the kitchen to make lunch.

I cooked potatoes, and I helped making a meat, cheese, and melon dishes for the lunch.

And I have put the glasses, and the cups and the mugs on two trays on the table for the drinks.

So far I like this place and the people.

Hopefully this place will be good for me for long term (at least for a few years).

Nice room. Comfortable bed. A few hours of work in the fresh air. And 0 euros a month for rent. I think that's not bad when the goal is to minimize expenses and maximize your small investment.

To anyone, who is interested, my room and my bed is visible in my previous post:

My new accommodation is a little wood house (2025.07.28)

My income nowadays is only around €280 Euro per month, which is a pension-like income for my multiple disabilities.

With this, I really do not have any other choice, but €0 Euros per month for rent.

In addition to minimizing the expenses, my goal is to build passive income for long term (for years, for decades) to get out of deep poverty, and to buy my own place. Either a plot with a caravan, or a house with a garden.

Probably this will take years.

I do everything I can to achieve it.

Months ago I decided to write mostly for myself on the Hive blockchain, and nowadays I spend very little time online (not only on the Hive blockchain, but generally on the internet), so nowadays I am not really focusing on online communities, but maybe I will write a few posts in the minimalist Hive community too.
