[ENG/ESP] Challenges and achievements at the beginning of the week.
Greetings to all. I begin a new week, and with it, I resume with energy the arduous work that corresponds to us. I refer to it as hard because, without a doubt, it requires meticulous attention and constant commitment. On this occasion, we continue to focus on the priority of the Sunsol Ecoland Hotel, whose water comes from the desalination plant. The latest values obtained in the tests were very accurate, which obliges us to remain attentive and not to let our guard down at any time.
This process will demand at least two consecutive days - possibly even more - of continuous presence at the facilities, in order to ensure a rigorous check. So my husband and I decided to leave home very early. Although the drive to the hotel is long, there is something that makes it a pleasant experience, the beauty of the road. Along the way, landscapes that capture the view unfold, whether natural scenery that offers peace or urban elements that connect us with the rhythm of the city. And since on this occasion my husband was behind the wheel, I was able to relax deeply and simply enjoy the moment.
Mis saludos a todos. Doy inicio a una nueva semana, y con ella, retomo con energía el arduo trabajo que nos corresponde. Me refiero a él como arduo porque, sin duda alguna, requiere atención minuciosa y compromiso constante. En esta ocasión, continuamos centrados en la prioridad del Hotel Sunsol Ecoland, cuya agua proviene de la planta desalinizadora. Los últimos valores obtenidos en las pruebas fueron muy precisos, lo cual nos obliga a mantenernos atentos y no bajar la guardia en ningún momento.
Este proceso demandará al menos dos días consecutivos —posiblemente incluso más— de presencia continua en las instalaciones, con el fin de garantizar un chequeo riguroso. Así que mi esposo y yo decidimos salir muy temprano de casa. Aunque el trayecto hacia el hotel es largo, hay algo que lo convierte en una experiencia grata, la belleza del camino. A lo largo del recorrido, se despliegan paisajes que capturan las vistas, ya sean escenarios naturales que ofrecen paz o elementos urbanos que nos conectan con el ritmo de la ciudad. Y como en esta oportunidad mi esposo estaba al volante, pude relajarme profundamente y simplemente disfrutar del momento.
When we arrived at the hotel, the quality control team was already waiting for us. Surprisingly, they had arrived earlier than agreed. This was a difference from the previous week, when on several occasions we had to wait long hours to get started. It seems that today they wanted to compensate us with punctuality, which we appreciated. In addition, I can't fail to recognize the friendly, responsive and professional attitude of these people, who always make the work easy and make each task flow naturally.
Al llegar al hotel, el equipo de control de calidad ya se encontraba esperándonos. Sorprendentemente, habían llegado antes de lo acordado. Esto marcó una diferencia con respecto a la semana anterior, cuando en varias ocasiones debimos esperar largas horas para poder comenzar. Parece que hoy quisieron compensarnos con puntualidad, lo cual agradecimos. Además, no puedo dejar de reconocer la actitud amable, receptiva y profesional de estas personas, que siempre facilitan el trabajo y hacen que cada tarea fluya con naturalidad.
We went to the vertical tank to perform the relevant tests. The usual disinfection and chlorination routines were carried out. On this occasion, we decided to divide the tasks for greater efficiency; I stayed on the lower part, in charge of checking the values obtained, while the two men from the team went up to the tank to carry out the corresponding chlorination. Fortunately, everything went smoothly, and both we and the technical team were very satisfied with the results obtained.
Nos dirigimos al tanque vertical para realizar las pruebas pertinentes. Se llevaron a cabo las rutinas habituales de desinfección y cloración. En esta ocasión, decidimos dividir las tareas para mayor eficiencia; yo me quedé en la parte baja, encargada de revisar los valores obtenidos, mientras los dos hombres del equipo subieron al tanque para llevar a cabo la cloración correspondiente. Afortunadamente, todo se desarrolló sin contratiempos, y tanto nosotros como el equipo técnico quedamos muy satisfechos con los resultados obtenidos.
Once the tasks in the tank were completed, we moved to the ice maker area, where we proceeded to backwash the filters in the ice factory. This procedure took longer than usual, as there was a considerable amount of solids in suspension. We had to wait patiently until the backwash water came out completely clear, which is a clear sign that the cleaning process has been effective and successful.
Una vez finalizadas las tareas en el tanque, nos trasladamos al área de la hielera, donde procedimos a realizar el retrolavado de los filtros en la fábrica de hielo. Este procedimiento tomó más tiempo del habitual, ya que había una considerable cantidad de sólidos en suspensión. Tuvimos que esperar pacientemente hasta que el agua del retrolavado saliera completamente transparente, lo cual representa una señal clara de que el proceso de limpieza ha sido efectivo y exitoso.
At the end of the day's work, we felt a sense of satisfaction and tranquility. We billed for the services rendered and started our return, once again delighting in the scenery that accompanied us along the way. There is always something new to see, something that inspires us or brings a silent smile to our faces. And so, in the midst of contemplation and gratitude for a productive day, we closed the first day of a week that has started off on the right foot.
